Best view and lovely staff! View from Hotel is postcard beautiful! All of the staff were very Warm and helpful. Great breakfast. Location perfectly located for the beach. The rooms are properly cleaned but in desperate need of room freshener. Would I stay again? Yes. Although the rooms are very outdated and it took us a While to adjust to the musky smell the location and views were Perfection. The cherry on top was definitely the breakfast and a lovely older gentleman who runs the breakfast room and makes The perfect cappuccino.

Great spot!
Great location and room was lovely - beautiful view of the beach and very close to the cable car that takes you to the town of Taormina. Service was ok - we had emailed asking how to best get there and they weren’t very helpful. Wifi and beach chairs were at a charge but apparently free for some guests depending on what site you book on ...

Bien situé et bel hôtel
Très belle vue sur Isola Bella et bien agréable ! Je recommande le restaurant juste en face. L'hotel est situé à 5 min à pied du funiculaire afin de visiter Taormine. L'emplacement est tidéal et la chambre est suffisante. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux et très bon, il y a de tout.

Buongiorno Ho terminato pernotto presso Mendolia Beach Hotel a Taormina Questa mattina al check out la titolare mi ha consegnato ricevuta pernotto a me intestata quando in fase di prenotazione con hotel avevo esplicitato nelle note di ricevere fattura intestata a alla azienda per cui lavoro. Alla mia richiesta di fattura la titolare si è irrigidita e si è giustificata dicendomi che non fosse possibile dato che non le erano stati inviati dati per fatturazione e nemmeno richiesta di fattura. Data l’impossibilità di modificare da ricevuta a fattura da parte della titolare (sono dubbioso in merito) nemmeno ha voluto modificare intestaZione della ricevuta da personale con i dati della azienda. Anzi si è pure risentita della mia “assurda” richiesta Sinceramente sono stupefatto che nel 2019 una titolare di struttura ricettiva possa trattare i clienti come sono stato trattato. A mai più...

Flotte Mendolia Beach Hotel
Kjempebra beliggenhet rett ovenfor den idylliske stranden ved Isola Bella, og kun 100m fra taubanen opp til sentrum. Hjelpsomt og hyggelig personale, rene og fine rom (litt harde senger). Helt grei frokost på koselig balkong. Alt i alt helt topp, kommer gjerne tilbake:)

Das Frühstück bzw. die Bedienung beim Früstück ist ein Hammer. Mein Mann benötigte ein Gluten und Lactosefreies Frühstück - dies war alles vorhanden! Leider muß man bei geschlossenen Fenster schlafen, da die Hauptstrasse bis in den späten Abend sehr laut ist. Aber für einige Tage kann man das in Kauf nehmen. Parkplatz war schwierig aber in der Vorsaison doch zu bewältigen.

Unflexibel, lieblos und gleichgültig
Ein Hotel mit toller Aussicht, auf „Isola Bella“ und Meer, aber relativ lärmig zum Schlafen bei offenem Fenster. Das kann man Händeln, und ist deshalb kein Grund zur Klage. Aber der unflexible, lieblose und gleichgültige Empfang an der Rezeption, genauso wie das Frühstück inklusive dem Service, ist nicht akzeptabel. Es macht den Eindruck, als hätte das Hotel Mendolia Beach den Gast nicht mehr nötig. Das im Internet präsentierte und die Gastfreundschaft, ist diesen eher höheren Preis nicht wert. Wir waren zu viert, zwei Wochen in Sizilien unterwegs und haben in mehreren, teils einfachen aber sehr schönen und herzlich geführten Hotels übernachtet. (Siehe Bewertungen von Martin aus Basel) Wir sind nicht anspruchsvoll und werden sicher wieder nach Sizilien zurückkommen, um das Land mit den Leuten und das Leben zu geniessen. Aber der finale Eindruck im Hotel Mendolia Beach, lässt deshalb nur einen Schluss zu: Sicher nicht in dieses Hotel.

Familiäres Hotel mit ein Paar Defizite
Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Strada Nazionale welches stark befahren ist d.H. viel Lärm! Als Kompensation, unserem Zimmer, mit Balkon, hatte eine ausgezeichnete Aussicht zur Isola Bella. Das Frühstück war sehr gut mit einem reichhaltiges und feines Büffel an Kuchen. Der nahe gelegene Strand (durch eine Steile Treppe zu erreichen) gab sich sehr Volksnah.

che posizione !!!!
di passaggio a Taormina, abbiamo soggiornato nell'Hotel Mendolia purtroppo per una sola notte.Dalla nostra camera si godeva di una vista mozzafiato sul golfo di Taormina. Abbiamo potuto usufruire delle strutture della spiaggia dove abbiamo trascorso una bellissima giornata in totale relax. La camera era pulita e confortevole e la colazione era all'altezza delle aspettative.

La estancia fué muy agradable, el trato muy familiar, el único pero eran los141 escalones para ir a la playa, pero esto no es cosa de Vds. y los servicios de la playa inmejorables
