NICE STAYPosted 13-Apr-2014
Nothing fantastic to say. The staff was really friendly. It is in a yucky part of town, but we wanted the shuttle to busch gardens. Which by the way you have to have appointments to ride! We did not realize this and tried to just hop on- nope- must check with the front desk. The breakfast was free and just ok. I would stay at a Hyatt place again, I'm just done with Tampa.

Convenient location.Posted 13-Apr-2014
Booked through Expedia. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Didn't get room requested. (1 bed instead of 2). Elevator (only 2) very slow and always crowded usually shared with service staff with trolleys and equipment. Breakfast area usually crowded. More space needed here.

Hairs all over the roomPosted 13-Apr-2014
I love the Hyatt place. I was not thrilled to find hairs all over the shower, on towels and sticking to my feet as I climbed into bed both nights. I just recommend that the hotel change the filter on the vacuum.

Great family vacationPosted 9-Apr-2014
Location: Busch Garden is just one block away.
Overall, the 3 night stay at the hotel was very comfortable. The room was clean. Even though I saw lots of families with little children, we could not hear any disturbing noises or whatsoever. The breakfast including hot sandwiches were great! If I have to pick a couple of complaints, the bed was a bit too soft for my taste, and there was a train horn (whistle) (there is a railroad right next to the hotel) at around midnight in one night.

Great family stay and close to Busch GardensPosted 9-Apr-2014
Pros: The staff was great. The pool was fabulous and the proximity to Busch Gardens was perfect (and a free shuttle)
Cons: Breakfast was ok...not bad
Location: Busch Gardnes is 2 minutes away. It rained the last day (heading to the airport in the evening) so we went to an indoor/outdoor arcade place-not bad
Overeall-it was great. The front lobby hosts and bar tender were excellent. The pool was perfect. I thought the hotel (for the proce) was really good. They offered a lot for the money and I was able to work out every morning in the cozy gym.

Very loud shutting doorsPosted 28-Mar-2014
Althought the staff was superb, the doors where very loud when closing. (Including ours). If you go to bed early, or if your neighbors stay out late, you will be awaken every time anyone comes in or out. The location is a terrible part of town although convinient to visit USF.

Hyatt Busch Gardens - Tampa FLPosted 13-Mar-2014
Pros: Location and the accommodations
Cons: The check out process is a little slow.
Location: Busch Gardens, 20 minutes to Tampa International, Yuengling Brewery Tour
This hotel represents the Hyatt brand very well. Located about a 5 minute car to the front entrance to Busch Gardens. Hotel also provides shuttle service if you don't fell like paying the $15 dollars to park at BG. The morning breakfast is excellent with many choices. There are many choices to eat nearby. There is also the Yuengling Brewery just up the road from the hotel if you're interested in taking a tour. I would definitely stay here again next time I visit the Tampa area.
