Nice hotel, 2nd time stay. Not great breakfast

Posted 7-Aug-2014
Free parking, shuttle to busch gardens and restaurants near. Stay for 4 nights. Free breakfast but not so much variety. Very crowded, have to eat standing up. Only on Sunday they open a near meeting room with tables and chair. The room was great, fridge, sofa bed, great towels and bedding. Next to a gas dtation and CVS pharmacy. Great location.

Intimate Luxury Hotel

Posted 7-Aug-2014
Pros: The Staff.
Cons: Needs spirits in the bar.
Location: Too many to mention, but Busch Gardens stands out.
The Hyatt Place is a small, 6 storey building, beautifully designed, with spacious, comfortable rooms. The setup truly feels like home away from home. There is a beer and wine bar, with delicious food served 24/7. But here's what really needs to be said: the staff. They treat you like royalty from the moment you enter, and cater to your every need as quick as a wink. And they do EVERYTHING. The front desk staff checks you in, gets your drink, cooks your food, shuttles you to the show, all with precision timing. I learned all of their names. I don't even know how they pull that multitasking off, but it's incredible. If you don't go for any other reason (great pool, wonderful rooms, tasty food) go for the staff. They are GLORIOUS.

Pros: It all was nice.
Cons: I could not see anything.
Location: It is centrally located so that you can go anyway within the area within a matter or time. Very close to Busch Gardens, about 1 mile.
Hotel was very easy to locate and very close to Busch Gardens and Adventure Island. Our room was clean and comfortable and was cleaned daily. Staff was more than willing to help. Breakfast was very good with various items to choose from. We would definitely stay again.

great hotel, close to Busch Gardens

Posted 12-Jul-2014
Pros: everything
Cons: Shuttle size/availability
Location: lots of restaurants nearby, Busch Gardens, Adventure Island, Florida Aquarium
I really don't have anything negative to say about the hotel. i guess the only drawback was the size of the shuttle. you have to make reservations, but it is only a 9 passenger van so during weekends i would imagine that making the reservation would be more difficult. The staff was very friendly and always available to help. Breakfast was very adequate for a free "continental" breakfast. It wasn't your typical doughnuts, coffee and orange juice. there was a variety of fresh fruits, yogurt, toast, bagels, french toast, breakfast sandwiches, eggs, sausage, cereal and oatmeal. Either the hotel was empty, people were unusually courteous, or the rooms were really quiet. It wasn't like most hotels where you can hear every kid in the hallway heading to their room.
