Located conveniently close to King Cross station. Only 5 minutes walk. Was easy to commute around the city. Was asleep and all of the sudden found a staff in the room. There was no cupboard at in the room let alone a locked one. No milk for tea/coffee. No water at all. There was nothing appreciative apart from good location.

I was on the top floor facing William Street and was.pleasantly surprised to have a view of the harbour, harbour bridge and part of the opera house. The downside of the view was noisy William Street. The rooms opposite faced a lane with a 10km speed limit so presumably very quiet. I preferred tge view to asking to switch rooms.

The rooms facing the street are extremely noisy. The cleaning staff too. It's not all their fault since the isolation is very poor, so you hear every door opening or closing and guests coming on your floor and chatting or the guests above your room walking in theirs. We had a fire alarm in the night due to a lack of air propulsion system in the bathroom. Fortunately, the reception team makes up for all these inconvenients. Very friendly and helpful.

Worst hotel ever! First we told that the parking was full. Rightio $470 room and you can save a park for each room. I booked a room for 3 people, one queen bed and one sofa bed. We get out in a room with one queen bed. My goodness, the staff member tried arguing with me that I booked only a queen bed. Ummm no mate, we then got moved into the correct room. We had 2 pillows and 2 towels for the 3 of us. The toilet paper roll wasn’t even new, the fridge wasn’t cold, not even the size of a bar fridge. The room was small and dingy looking. I would never ever stay here again. The price is absurd for what you get. Absolute disappointment.

Noise from the hallways was so loud, the AC barely worked and was also unbearably loud, the walls were filthy (including some questionable stains on the bathroom wall!), I couldn’t check as I waited in reception for 15 minutes but there were no staff at 9am in the morning. Only good thing is the location is central and it’s well connected to transport

Rooms were not as big as in pictures, very little space to move around for 3 adults. Bathroom was quite small, no curtain on shower had water everywhere in the bathroom. Overall 2 day stay was tolerable, as we did not spend a lot of time in the room except to sleep.

The rooms need a proper clean. The sheets were clean but the floor, walls and bathroom were a bit grubby. Reception staff were nice. The breakfast was very basic, definitely not worth paying extra for. We managed to get free overnight street parking both nights we stayed. The room had locked windows so there was no ventilation and the room was quite stuffy. The shower makes the whole bathroom wet.

Could of done with some tea towels , TV is in foregirn language and couldnt operate well and there is a cat wee smell when you first open the door but dosent linger so not sure what thats all about overall nice property. Nice owner

Close to the subway. Staff pleasant and professional. Pretty quiet at night. Bed was comfy and linen clean. Great view overlooking the Opera House and harbour. Room was spacious but to top it off, sachets of Green Tea were supplied with the other sachets; you can't beat that !

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It had everything we needed, was clean and tidy and centrally located. Coles is a very short walk away as well as takeaway places. If you have luggage, prams or require wheelchair access, I would suggest being dropped off at the rear of the hotel on Premier Lane as they have ramp access. Otherwise. William St access is only via stairs.

Customer Service in this Ibis Branch is Superb. The guys in the reception have an exceptional customer service. We had a family room and it was clean and tidy. The building was a bit old but it was worth the money! I would strong recommend Ibis Budget for families most specially for short stays.

Fair to above average budget hotel
Stayed there for 4 nights with no particular complaints. Room size is ok and everything seems normal to a budget hotel. But the bathroom design is a little bit inconvenient for the guest. With no shower room door so inside the toilet most of the things will get wet after you had your shower. They have paid parking service for around 30 to 35 AUD, so I skipped it and park the small road behind the hotel every night.
