The on line advance check in process was highly frustrating to the point that I gave up after 3 attempts of repeated requests to put in the booking code whereupon it just kept resending new codes without accepting the code just sent. it was supposed to save time In the end checking in at the reception desk could not have been simpler and easier with an extremely nice and efficient lady Apart from the above a most pleasant if somewhat brief stay

This is second time we have stayed there ok for a one night stay but would probably not stay more than one night Staff were friendly but this time felt rushed to order what we wanted to eat even though it was not busy and didn’t seem to be to the same standard as the last time we were there so overall disappointed

The member of staff who checked me in was great and it was all downhill from there on. TV not working, no soap or shampoo in the room, both dispensers empty, dirty glass on the window ledge. Maximum temperature on the AC was 21 which is too cold in Scotland just now and didnt help the wall has an external vent and the room was really cold. Room 107 had theiur TV blaring til 2am and then back on at 5am, no staff round anywhere to do anything about it, no telephone numbers to call Pretty terrible all round

One Night Away
One night stay which was comfortable. Rooms are spacious for a family and clean. Bathroom was clean though the usual mold appearing on the shower head when it hasn't had a scrubbing brush taken to it for a while. Overall the hotel could do with a freshen up as it seems to be showing its age. Breakfast was had in the restaurant which was cooked fresh and was very good. Basic choice of cereals, bread for toast, fruit juice etc. for a continental choice. Overall a very satisfying stay and would stay again.

Fantastic hotel
I will be honest I was a little sceptical about this hotel, mostly due to past experiences telling me that if it seems too good to be true then it usually is. But wow I have never been so happy to be wrong. The check in was easy in the restaurant and Erin was so welcoming and friendly. The hotel is a different building so you’re not in the same building as the restaurant. We found our room easily and we were thrilled with it. Clean and tidy, spacious and exactly what we needed. Very quiet, or at least it was when we stayed, doors can be a little noisy if guests let them bang but not the hotels fault obviously. Didn’t hear a thing from upstairs either. Room service is available which we realised after the first night only came in if you put the wee sign on the door. We ended up eating in the restaurant all 3 nights we were there and the food was fantastic. All the staff were incredibly friendly and really lovely to deal with. Would definitely stay here again and we would highly recommend.

Disappointed.
Didn't arrive until late, finding entrance to pub which was quite away from the hotel part could do with better signposting/lighting. Room temperature was cold when arrived and did not warm up, could not go above 21 on the controlds actuals room temperature was no where near this.

Lovely clean rooms and a great place to eat. Food was amazing and reasonable. Staff very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. Great with people with additional support needs and allergies. Would definitely stay again

We had a very comfortable stay here, clean, fresh room. We had to look for reception as it was in the red squirrel next to the accommodation block but after getting booked in all was well.

Great location for Ardrossan ferry terminal. Supermarket across the road and plenty of fast-food options nearby. Pub does good food too.

There was only one chair for both of us. The room needs to be decorated. The heating didn't work for the first couple of days, to set our 7 day stay. The room never got hoovered. The bedding didn't always get changed, as there was a stain on the quilt cover for a couple of days or so. There was a piece of toilet paper stuck to the bathroom ceiling, I don't know how long that was there as we noticed it on our last day. Why is the reception in the pub? It looks as though it used to be in the building where the rooms are.

Convenient local stay
Friendly stay over weekend. Clean and well maintained. 2 days. All is good standard of furniture, bedding /towels and all electric as so equipment. Highly recommend
