We are taking every precaution possible to ensure the safety of our staff and guests by using CDC approved sanitizers exclusively and we are disinfecting all door handles, switches, remotes, cabinets, appliances etc. Your cabin is self check-in with private (key code) entrance, full kitchen and full bathroom.

Kindly note there is no good cell reception here and we recommend that you read up on all directions, check in information before arrival or print if necessary. You may not be able to access information on your cell phone on the grounds/parking on arrival.

We stopped here as a halfway point after dropping daughter off at college. The cabin and location are perfect for resting and enjoying nature. Only regret was the shortness of our stay. Beautiful cabin and wonderful surroundings.

Really enjoyed the remoteness, while still being fairly close to stores and restaurants. Gave us a chance to visit some VA sites we had never been to.

Great value
The log cabin is totally private. The only other sign of human activity was a distant light we could see through the woods at night. Other than that, there was only the sightings and sounds of nature. We were there only one evening and morning, but during that time we saw an egret fishing for its breakfast, squirrels playing, butterflies, birds and the babbling brook. It was so very relaxing sitting on the deck, drinking our morning coffee and listening to and watching the water rushing over the rocks.
