The heat never worked, it was a thermostat on the opposite side of a built in fireplace, we adjusted the thermostat but, the fireplace never came on. It was the only source of heat. Judging by how it was mounted on the wall, I suspect there was no connection between the two. Then, it took 10 minutes of running the hot water, just to get luke warm water for a shower. And, the room had a strong smell of curry.

The staff was amazing. Very kind, prompt, available, etc. The staff is doing the best they can. The property management or the owners should invest money to replace the gross carpets, steam clean, fix the pool, maintenance, fire pit, etc. it is run down. The place is in a great location, great size room, etc. smells like urine and terrible due to gross carpet. Staff and cleaning people do the best they can but they can’t replace carpets and old dirty furniture.

I loved our stay! We were walking distance from amazing area of South Lake Tahoe. Staff was friendly. Room was nice and very comfortable. We were able to walk to Nevada and enjoy the Casinos. Loved our stay! This is the place we would stay again and again when we visit Tahoe.

The property was close to the main highway with shops and dining. Also close to the concert venue at Harvey's. We didn't use our rental car the entire time of our stay. The property was very fatigued and borderline rundown. The front door lock was loose, the room was shabby, one of the windows wouldn't open, and the shower initially took 10 minutes to warm up. The TV remote worked intermittently. The pool was emptied even though it was summer and the Jacuzzi area was closed. I'd put this possibly in the 2 star rating because there were no bugs in the room, though my wife wouldn't touch the carpet without shoes on. The manager at check was nice and efficient and I did get additional pillows immediately upon request.

The only good thing is that is close to the casinos if you’re looking for that Very outdated room, horrible old dirty smelly carpet. You could hear every step on the room upstairs, I stayed there two nights, I asked for the room to be cleaned and they never did I highly recommend spending a few dollars more and get a decent budget room elsewhere

Very nice 1960’s property. No AIr conditioning, Pool and jacuzzi not working. But very quiet and private. The 1960’s ice machine is worth its weight in gold. Manager and family are super helpful

The room has no air conditioning, which makes it difficult to sleep in the summer even with the fan on. The remote control for the television doesn’t function well. It wasn’t just my room. We had two rooms and the second room had the same issue with the remote control. The carpeting in the floor feels dirty and some areas had come stuck to it. Oh overall, it’s a quick bargain for a quick stay, but I do not plan on staying here again.

We had to find a hotel at the last minute due to an illness. It is close to Harvey's where we were going for a concert. Outside was a little shabby... room was fine... nice bathroom! Rug was old.. but all in all it was just fine.

The place itself is really close to the nice spots in tahoe, bad review for, the front desk didnt have anyone in there, does not accomodate early check in, they give you, real keys for your room not one of those key card, rooms looks really outdated, toilet is shaking, NO AC for 92’ heat just two fans that is filled with dust, linen seem clean but not really, quick check in though, but that heat killed it for me

Under new management less than 30 days so I cut them a break on the fact that the pool, hot tub, fire pit, outdoor patio etc wasn’t open and ready for use. However I was not anticipating the fact that there is no AC in the rooms. I’ve seen windows open in several other inns nearby as well so maybe this is common practice around here but if I could have canceled my reservation once I got here and found that out I would have! Rooms are nice enough and so are the people but no AC is a deal breaker for me!!!

I like the fact that is close to stores and lake . The room had easy access to ice and it has a mini fridge and a microwave .The pool and the jacuzzi are not in function. The room did not have A/C and it was a little hot , had to sleep with the windows open.

Motel need renovation. only good thing I found is its location apart from that room and property was in bad condition stair case was broken. Room carpet was very dusty. bathroom shower knob was broken and very hard to on/off. no A/C in rooms and bad ventilation of room.

My Tahoe trip
Great place, everything is great including the service, only thingiit needs to improve is the carpet, it's a dark brown color,but you can tell it needs cleaning. Otherwise a great place to stay.

Definitely not how the pictures looked. Pool and hot tub were empty, stairs were all busted up. The walls were very dirty, scratched and scuffed. The bed/pillows were clean, but uncomfortable. Definitely not worth the price.
