"We have been to many vacation homes but this one is our new favourite! The waterfront cabin is privately situated on the property, amidst beautifully maintained gardens and lawns. We were able to easily launch our sea kayaks using the stairs that lead down to the oceanfront. There were various decks we could use, with Adirondack chairs on the end of the dock, on a lower sun dock and bistro sets on the upper deck outside the cabin. The water in the hot tub on the front deck was crystal clear and...

"Then location was great for our stay. Close to Sooke for convenient shopping and eating out as well as easy to walk to the beach or just around the neighbourhood. Victor was a warm and welcoming host providing fresh vegetables and peaches from his incredible garden.
Thank you for sharing your property with us."
"The view of the Bay from the deck. The hosting was smooth and comfortable. The room was large, and the common room was very effective and large as well."

"A sweet cozy little log home with everything you could need. We stayed 5 nights here with our family of 5. It was perfect. We love Sooke (this is our second stay in this area). The property has everything you could need. The beds are super comfy. We loved the households amenities, it meant packing so much less items each & being able to cook our own meals if we wanted. The soaker tub & sauna in the beautiful backyard were great. We did day trips out & were happy to return to a place like this,...
"Loved our stay here! Most unique place we’ve stayed at😊. Well done renovation to make a cozy place to relax. It had everything we needed in the space. My favorite spot was the eating bar, looking out at that view!😍. Easy communication with the host- thanks for everything!"
"I opted out of the "go green" initiative, but during my two-day stay, my room wasn't cleaned. When I asked the staff about it, they mentioned that the cleaning staff had different schedules. However, no cleaning took place. This is why I gave a lower rating."
