Overall, not the best or the worst place to stay. A little overpriced for the location but the room was a little bigger than I expected. We discovered several long hairs on top of the bed opon arrival. There was a barking dog at a residence next to us that kept us up. The channels on the television kept turning off and on. There was even a signed that read "difficulties connecting. Hospitality was above average; coffee bland. The coffee cups and lids were extremely cheap and were dangerous because the lids kept falling off. Like I wrote, not the best or worse place to stay.

I’m really disappointed about the resort fee. You are not a resort and those fees are way too high for what they are supposedly supposed to cover. It will prevent me from staying again most likely. I loved the hotel, room, and staff and everything about the hotel EXCEPT the fee.

The service exceeded expectation. Every person on staff was attentive and friendly. The text system for communication made everything so easy even when we were away hiking. The bottle of wine in our room for our anniversary was the frosting on the cake, it really made us feel special Additionally: Sparkling clean pool And hot tub Beautiful nature view Buttery soft linins Fantastic bath products Robe and slippers provided Good in room coffee Will be back for sure!

The staff was friendly and helpful. We were celebrating our anniversary so they updated us to a Mountain View room. Loved there was a refrigerator,microwave and coffee pot in the room. I would recommend some updated sitting chairs for the room and patio. But the bed was very comfortable! The bartender puts together a mean key lime pie martini too!

We chose this hotel based on the reviews on Expedia . When we arrived it looked good and we sat in the bar and had a drink , which was the best part of our stay . The bar tender was awesome ! Our room was dark and smelled of mold - such a strong smell it gave my husband a headache very quickly . We messaged Expedia and got quick service and got our room moved & cut our stay short one day . It was a hassle and I didn’t like management saying they’d send someone up from maintenance to fix the smell . Uh , you can’t spray Lysol and make mold disappear , the entire floor smelled . Anyhow we did move rooms and the next one was ok - it didn’t smell . But it wasn’t the cleanest . Part of the carpet by the desk was wet . Just in general the room was worn out . We considered going into the pool but there were a lot of kids in there at all times . I’d not say “no “ to staying there just be cautious about the mold . The drinks we had were excellent and it’s close to everything & ample parking. The room we had backed up to a house and their dogs barked a lot and we were by the corridor “door” and we could hear people coming and going all night .,

Property was very nice & close to restaurants & shops. The staff is very pleasant & helpful. We had covered parking, as well. When we mentioned in passing that it was our anniversary, they had a special treat in our room when we returned. It was a lovely experience all around. We would definitely stay there again.

Perfect location, great welcoming staff, and super clean. I only put 4 stars for cleanliness because windows are too old to ever be completely clean, which takes away from the spectacular view. While there, we weren’t able to have food delivered to our room and that was a bummer. Besides that, the experience was great. After staff checked in with me during my stay, they offered to clean my room to provide all the stuff I needed to feel fully comfortable - water, mugs, extra towels. We could walk to everything and felt very safe. Lobby was super welcoming with the fire going and apples on the table. Oh! And the free cold brew and coffee in the lobby were such a nice touch! Thank you.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. My only complaint is service in the lounge was painfully slow because there was only the bartender and no one else to take orders and serve the customers other than the bartender. Hire a server, please, before our next stay at the Vinland. Please.

The property is nice and conveniently located. Pets are welcome for a $50 fee and there's a resort fee as well. There is only one master light for the entire room - this was a little weird. Bed is comfortable and everything was clean.

We enjoyed Solvang very much. The hotel was convenient to lots of stores and restaurants. Was a bit noisy, since it is on the main road and room faced the front. Also, we could hear our neighbors above us walking all the time. Otherwise, the place was clean and friendly.

The property was clean, nicely appointed and the staff was very polite. Really enjoyed the welcome glass of Pinot Grigio while awaiting my turn for check in. Sarah at the front desk was a delight to check in with and made us feel very welcomed. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area.

This was a great location. The only thing that seemed a little odd was there was no ice machine; no soft drink or water machine anywhere on the property. If the lounge was open, you could get your refreshments there; otherwise, you walked across the street to a small market to get snacks and soft drinks. The location is perfect.
