"This property is a little gem - the room is very small, but it offers everything that you need when you are a visitor and only sleep in the room. The breakfast though, was the cherry on top - one of the most delicious continental breakfast we had anywhere - with high quality products at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended."

"Christina was very helpful getting us oriented. We were a little disappointed that the breakfast part was not actually at the Chalet, it was up at the Saudade cafe, a short walk away. Also, there was no free coffee on premises, only tea. Why is this? Bed was comfortable and room was quiet at night, as long as guests above went to bed. Floors very creaky. This location is not very close to area attractions or old town, so there is a lot of walking on very steep hills. You need to be in shape! "

It was a lovely experience… far removed from the bustle of downtown Sintra, lovely grounds, an elaborate included breakfast buffet, and very kind staff. In particular, we were grateful that the hotel manager agreed to refund us when we discovered we accidentally double booked a room. "
