The location was perfect. Everyone on the staff deserved 5 stars-thank you! We enjoyed the free continental breakfast. If you’re expecting brand new, this might not be the place for you. This hotel was built in 1908, and the features are lovely. We can see that they’re working on upgrades, which is an ongoing thing with older buildings. The attached pub served cold beer and good food. It’s an 18 minute Uber from the airport. The hotel is within a 5-15 minute walk to many local sites, restaurants and shopping plazas.

Parking was a little inconvenient on Friday or weekends in the evening. Very home like feel. The room was great. Be patient for warm/hot water but start tap 1 or 2 minutes before and it will come. Probably on demand hot water so just give it a minute or 2 and will be there. Great lounge or bar . Would definitely stay again.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying in this historic hotel. The Hotel architecture was beautiful. The staff was top notch and very helpful. Winston's Pub is right off the lobby which is very convenient. I will definitely stay here again.

This was my third time staying here for the tattoo convention and I’m not sure I will be back. The price isn’t bad but I think I’d rather pay more for a nicer, more updated room somewhere else. It was nice being able to have free parking behind the hotel but I would highly encourage you not to double park for the valet to have to move you. One of the staff at the front had to move another guests vehicle because they were blocking us in and I’m not sure this man should’ve had his license. It took him about 20 mins to try and back up in a space that would’ve taken any competent person 2 seconds to do. He ended up letting me get in this random persons vehicle to back up out of the space so we could get out, definitely against hotel policy but we’re also pretty sure he banged their rear on the yellow concrete pylons. Also while checking out we heard other guests saying how the hotel had ruined their ignition by trying to put someone else’s key to try and start their car. We found a cockroach in our hotel room and at one point the cold water tap in our shower stopped working so we had to get someone to fix it. Everything is super outdated besides maybe the tvs. The only redeeming quality is how close it is to a lot of good food and nightlife spots.

-A to the cleaning staff, rooms were spotless. -Continental breakfast consisted of coffee with no cream, muffins & yogurt with no spoons. -front doors locked all the time, why? Because there are druggies prepping meth or whatever on the front steps (I wish I was lying) -parking is VERY limited. FCFS, car janga basically and you’re to leave your keys at the front desk. Paid parking everywhere else and the meter maids were on it bright & early. -rooms are loud, beds are awful -would not stay again, ever

I should stay there in Easter weekend but this place is terrible starting from the lady in front desk didn’t treating us nicely the hotel was stinky including the room and the area unsafe some homeless people sleeping outside and she asked us to empty our car we can’t stay and we waste 260$ as they refused to refuse us our money unrecommended place to satay and terrible customer service

I love the antiquities throughout the hotel and how warm the lobby feels. The bathroom in our room looked in need of renovation. Despite being in the heart of downtown the soundproofing to the street was very good. I appreciated having access to the property balcony overhanging the front of the business, watching people go by and listening to the music piped into the street by the bar. The staff were lovely and friendly.

Lots of crime around the property. I stayed at the Hotel Senator for a work trip, and had lots of product in my vehicle that needed to be delivered to customers. I appreciate that the manager was honest, and let me know that I should not leave anything in sight in my vehicle, however taking all the product inside the hotel was a pain, and made the stay less convenient

I stayed at The Senator Hotel in Saskatoon and found the overall experience to be disappointing. The hotel exuded a sense of decay, with poorly maintained and dimly lit spaces. Unfortunately, cleanliness fell short of expectations, and the only laundry machine available was out of order. Despite the staff's friendly demeanor, they seemed somewhat unprepared to address issues effectively.

The staff was friendly. The property was clean. Our room was nicely renovated. The bed was a little hard and no fault to the hotel but the chirps from the walk lights made it hard to sleep. Bring earplugs. The pub had delicious food and drinks but beware that the menu prices in the rooms were much lower than in the pub.

We have stayed at the senator many times, however this time the service at the pub was terrible. Grossly understaffed and slow for a Saturday night. Was a lot better on previous stays.
