"Unfortunately our stay was disappointing. On the advert it said dogs allowed but when we arrived we weren’t given the room advertised as there was a carpet on the floor. We were taken to an outside room which was very tired and old fashioned. We only stayed one night although booked for two. Probably much better in summer. The breakfast was very good but the dining room smelt very musty. Madame was very sweet - the hotel had been run by her parents for thirty years. It needs a little updating"

Anne was a gracious and warm host that made us feel comfortable immediately and had suggestions what to do in the area. The food was outstanding. "This is a good property in the heart of the historic district of Sarlat. We had great support from Valentin and Clois when we were there. The room was in the attic with a small kitchenette, which we used for breakfast 2 of the days that we were there. We needed a property with a garage and booked one with them. What we did not realize that this was a several minute walk from the property itself. There also was no convenient place to bring up the car to unload luggage since there was a fair going...

"The place was very clean and had everything needed for a great carefree holiday. The pool was always clean and well maintained. Hosts Phillippe and Veronique were great. Also very close to a large supermarket and Sarlat centre. I would highly recommend this place."
