THe owner here was the best. After letting me check in several hours early, he was very knowledgeable about the island, and was generous with his bike and even gave me a ride. T|here is a beautiful view, and the room was very comfortable, if a little damp - which I suspect is the same for most of Pico. I had a very fun stay here and would really recommend

Not recommend unless on a shoestring budget
Unlike the others places we stayed at in the Azores, here things LOOKED good but seldom worked. The door to the bathroom didn't close, we couldn't lock the door to our room (!), the fan in the bathroom sounded like a small airplane was taking off (no windows). Although promised, there was no room service, and we actually had to spend a day without toilet paper. After two weeks on the islands it was the first time we saw a cockroach (in the room), and mosquitoes (also in the room). The owner is very friendly and helpful, although a bit intrusive for our north-European taste, and seems to live on premises and the communal area is also his own office, where he spends time watching tv and listening to music, sometimes at the same time. The views are nice, but the outdoor areas lack tables (there's only one). No air conditioning, as advertised, but not even a fan in the room made the nights hot and muggy. Next time we'll invest a bit more money in the hope to get something closer to a hotel room.

Os clientes eram arrogantes e insolentes e nunca estavam contentes com nada, seria conveniente eles se informarem para a próxima vez dos locais onde pretendem visitar.

Good views, clean, room with no view
The pictures are a little deceiving as some of the rooms have no windows and you need to use the door as a window. If the room faces the driveway, there’s not much privacy. Our room was closest to the main street so we had a bright light shining through the door also. Otherwise rooms are clean and relatively new. It’s far from the town so you need a car to get around.

Amazing sea view! It would be nice if there was a table, chairs, glasses, and more than two pillows. The owner is very nice and helpful and we liked the free parking! There is a noticeable gap in the bottom of the door which let in a big insect. Small tv that is far from the bed. Overall a fine place for a fair price.

Este alojamento tem uma disposição interessante, os quartos são "simpáticos", mas como está muito perto de uma estrada movimentada e a insonorização não é das melhores, os mais perto da estrada, não proporcionam um ambiente tranquilo que se espera nas férias. O pessoal é simpático e disponível, sempre a tentar ajudar. Atenção à indicação de pequeno almoço, o mesmo não está incluído, é pago à parte. O que dispõem é de uma sala comum com um frigorifico onde se podemos tratar das nossas próprias refeições.

En princípio. Íbamos a quedar 2 noche, pero después añadimos una más. Los chicos de la recepción fueron super amables; supetaron nuestras expectativas; siempre con una sonrisa sugeriendo paseos y listos para ayudarnos en lo que fuera.

Decepcionante.
El hotel ofrece habitaciones con camas más grandes con un suplemento en el precio, pero todas las camas son iguales. También se publicitan con "desayuno incluido", pero no es cierto. La finda nordica olía mal. El baño tenía olor de cloaca.

L’emplacement de l’hôtel est très agréable. Si vous avez une voiture c’est facile d’accès. La vue depuis l’hôtel est magnifique. L’accueil se fait en toute simplicité et l’hôte, Miguel, est tres chaleureux. Comme prévu nous avons eu la chambre sans fenêtre… gros problème cette chambre est très très humide et l’odeur (comme dans une cave) est persistante et très désagréable. Le système d’aération de la salle de bain n’est pas suffisant pour remplacer l’absence de fenêtre. C’est dommage cela a gâché notre passage à Sara Village. Autre chose pas de Check Out tôt le matin: on dépose la clé et on part… j’aurais aimé discuter de tout cela avec Miguel.

O quarto era super agradável, supostamente era com vista para o mar, mas tinha que sair de casa para ver o mar. Por duas ocasiões tentaram entrar no quarto sem sequer bater á porta, uma delas o proprietário. O serviço de toalhas é fraco, não trocaram as toalhas durante os 4 dias em que estivemos hospedados. Nem tudo o que estava descrito nas características do quarto dispúnhamos . Tirando isso é razoável. Uma boa relação qualidade preço

As toalhas trocam se sempre a pedido dos clientes, e como era apenas um cliente para quatro tolhas a empregada provavelmente não achou que precisava de trocar!

La première chambre qui nous a été attribuée donnait sur la salle commune où les gens se faisaient à manger, utilisaient la machine à laver jouaient aux cartes jusqu’à minuit et prenaient le petit déjeuner certains à partir de 5h45 comme la nuit où nous y avons dormi. Nous avons demandé à changer de chambre et la suivante s’est révélée être une pièce sans fenêtre à moitié enterrée extrêmement humide (nos vêtements étaient humides) et nous avons dormi les 4 nuits avec la porte ouverte sur le parking . Petit déjeuner (que nous avons pris une seule fois) hors de prix pour ce qui est servi, impossible d’avoir un thé chaud car la bouilloire était cassée.

Nós temos todo o gosto em que os nossos clientes fiquem confortáveis e descontraidos na Sara Village e isso tem acontecido, lamento o sucedido mas estes clientes pagaram por um quarto mais barato e fiemos sempre o possível para que eles se sentissem confortáveis. O quarto a que se refere tem uma porta de protecção de ruído que tem que se fechar e se isso acontecer não haverá problema .

Toller Aufenthalt auf der Insel Pico.
Von der Terrasse der Ferienwohnung hat man einen herrlichen Blick auf die Insel São Jorge und ebenso auf den Mount Pico. Sehr netter Gastgeber der einem eine Menge Informationen schon beim Frühstück mitgeben kann.

Habitación sin ventana
La habitación no tenía ventana, aunque en la página de reserva ponía que tenía vistas al mar, se refiere a vistas desde la puerta de la habitación, que era de crista y daba al aparcamiento. Por ello, la habitación no tenía ventilación a no ser que dejaras la puerta abierta. El baño, tampoco tenía ventana y había problemas con el bote sinfónico.

Un cadre superbe
Miguel-Angelo est un hôte attentionné et généreux. Très sociable, il est de bon conseil et converser avec lui est un vrai plaisir. Sara Village est situé à la limite de Sao Roque. La vue sur la mer est splendide et une grande cuisine-sejour permet de bénéficier d'un bon confort au niveau des équipements. La voiture est indispensable pour vadrouiller sur l île et les îles voisines, Faial et Sao Jorge.
