Main town area walking distance if reasonably fit but we had a car which we used daily and for trips around island. Close to airport but planes landing not really a big deal. No noise from take off. "We had this property booked for 5 nights. We ended up only staying one. It is VERY remote. You cannot walk to anything because there are no pedestrian paths and it would be very dangerous to walk on the winding roads. Ubers were extremely expensive - 40 euros to go 3 km. We booked a hotel in Thira and sadly spent double to enjoy our time. "
