We arrived in Santiago, at the end of January. The city is quite pleasant at this time of the year. At La Sebastiana we got a large comfortable room on the twelfth floor, that had huge windows that opened wide, to this perfect dry heat, with no bugs. The view out was very pleasant consisting of some not too close glitzy office buildings and apartments, and a treed hill. With the windows open, there was not much street noise. Inside the room, we connected to their wireless network, which seemed to run at more than one megabit. There was no extra charge for this in-room internet connectivity. The kitchenette was more than adequate. The hotel has an excellent location, one block away from Apoquindo and the Tobalaba Metro entrance. The neighborhood is safe and nice, with a nearby supermarket, shops, and outdoor cafes. The Stade Francais tennis swim club is a short walk away on Tobalaba. The very nice El Golf neighborhood is a short walk away. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. We spoke Spanish, but their English should be good enough.
We enjoyed this room a lot and would definitely stay here again.
