Check in was frustrating. Booked on Expedia, where all communication was utilized. I let
Them know we were arriving at 2 am and asked for check in details to ensure no issues (sent thru Expedia). They sent building access details thru Expedia-not room check in details, but we didn’t know that because we had only the address, not a unit number. The actual
Room check in details were sent thru email the day of arrival, but we were not aware (traveling without full access or complement to look at emails). ALL communication had been thru Expedia without a reference of an email. We arrived at 3 am, were able to get inside the building, but had no clue as to the room or how to access. It took a few minutes to find a number to call-no answer. Received a text after about 20
minutes. Not an ideal scenario after a long travel day, exhaustion and 3 am. This was a first for me-and not ideal. When I asked for clarification on why they sent the email with check in but all other info was sent thru Expedia, they were short and stated why else would we ask for your email.
Bathrooms separate across the hall from the room with a separate key, thankfully dedicated to just us-2 showers, 2 toilets. Thin walls with Noise traveling from halls and other rooms to the space. Floors were slippery (possibly due to humidity).
Room ac worked great. Basic set up. Kitchen was upstairs- we didn’t use or visit.
The space reminded me more of a youth hostel, with a very different price range.
