Our location certainly has more of an urban vibe and may not be ideal for everyone. However, it certainly is the perfect choice for those seeking a more authentic Puerto Rican experience, away from the overly touristy spots with the typical big box hotels. We are conveniently located within a short walk from the well-known Calle Loiza, famous for its great restaurant and bar scene. Additionally, Ocean Park Beach is less than a 10 minutes walk away. As a self-check-in property with no on-site staff, we do not provide daily housekeeping service, however, it can be booked at an additional fee. Had you reached out to our 24/7 virtual concierge at any point during your 6-night stay with us, we would have been happy to provide you with some fresh towels and new pillows. We apologize if you found some stains on them and we would have appreciated knowing that right away. We take cleanliness extremely seriously, as proven by our many positive reviews, and we are sorry if we failed to deliver the unit in excellent condition, as per our usual standards. We apologize if the leak of one of the pipes caused you any inconvenience during your stay and we thank you for promptly informing our team about it. That allowed us to address the situation with our maintenance team and coordinate the best and fastest way to have it fixed as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience in this matter.As you were informed by our team, we are only able to offer late checkouts until 1 pm but invite all guests to leave their bags at our partner hotel for as long as needed, completely free of charge. As you confirmed you wanted to stay in the unit until 6 pm, the only option available was to book the unit for another night as this is past our check-in time of 3 pm. While we did offer you the lowest available rate, our team should have authorized an additional discount. There are room-darkening curtains or black-out shades for each window in the unit and closing these shades will prevent you from being woken up by the sun early in the morning, that is what they are intended for. We have noted your feedback regarding your toiletries getting wet while taking a shower and have since installed a shower curtain.
