“Salzburg Holiday Inn”

Small room but very comfortable and clean. The bathroom was larger than most European hotels. The breakfast at 15 Euro was expensive and not worth the price.

“Good value”

Clean, comfortable and modern, and a very good breakfast buffet. Our room was very quiet as it was on the back side; the other half of the rooms are probably on the street and may be noisier, but the breakfast room is on the street and very quiet as the double glazing of the windows is very good. On foot it took us 5 minutes to walk to the pedestrian area, and 10-15 minutes to get to the old town on the other side of the river. The surroundings have no particular charm, but the price we got was well below that of hotels right in the centre. Very good quality-price ratio for our three-day stay.

“A very good budget hotel”

Although Hoilday Inn are a wellknown chain of hotels, this really does seem to be a value alternative to paying in the city prices if you book in advance. It is only a 15-20 minute walk into the city itself so we found it very convenient. However, given we were in the middle of a heat wave, the distance did seem further! Hotel was well kept but does lack the home comforts of tea and coffee in room and no English TV channels for those spare moments. Overall, if you get a higher level room, the aspect is nice and the rooms are well furnished and modern. We did not smaple the breakfast, instead we opted for bakery pastrys and coffee in the city. A very good hotel for a first visit. Salzburg and the surroundings feel very safe indeed.

“15min walk”

Hotel 15min walk from the centre of Salzburg !! this is fine if the weather is good . The restaurant was good and breakfast buffet fine 15 euros per person if not included . Hotel new and modern very clean.
