Comfortable privately owned hotel in the centre of Salzburg. Enjoys a quiet position although in the centre of the town. Within easy reach on foot to all of the historic and interesting points of the city: e.g. Mirabell Castle and gardens, theaters, churches and museums, congress house, central train station and of course not to be missed the famous old Town Centre with its historic buildings and monuments. Parking available on the street free of charge weekdays from 7pm to 9am, all day Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holidays, or in garage opposite to us 14 Euro per 24 Hours.Cancellations/Amendments/No Show with no charge will be accepted only up to 48 hours prior to date of arrival (02Pm local), after this time limit 100% of reservation value will be charged.Until 10.30 complimentary buffet Breakfast is served. Rates include all taxes and Services. Children up to 12 years stay free when sharing existing beds in room with parents max 1 allowedFree wireless internet in all rooms and in the lobby free use of hotel computers too. We book your tours and provide free hotel pick-up.

“Definately recommend.”
Excellent value for your money. Our rooms were roomy and clean. A little dated in decor, but everything was in such good order it didn't really matter, and it had every comfort you would need. Apparently they don't do kettles in rooms like Britain, but that would've been the icing on the cake! Staff were curtious and approachable. Location of the Hotel was ideal, as all of central Salzburg was in walking distance. Many thanks for a lovely stay!

Good breakfast buffet, nice garden for breakfast, hotel is close to old town and shopping.

“Good Salzburg Option!”
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Wifi Internet and breakfast were included in the price of the hotel. The Hotel is a taxi ride away from the train station, but it is only 2 blocks to the old part of the city on the North Side of the river, and also only a few blocks to the Mirabell Gardens.

Goldenes Theaterhotel was a great stay. we had the triple which is a very spacious one bedroom apartment. We were not expecting so much space for the price and were very impressed. Well worth it. Breakfast was amazing, with more options than you can ask for!
“Very nice hotel”
The Goldenes Theater Hotel was a great place to stay in Salzburg. We had a room for 3 people which included a bedroom, a living room with a couch/single bed and a kitchenette. It was roomy and very comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel. It is walking distance from the train station or you can take a bus that gets you around the block from the hotel.

This hotel is well-run, clean, and pleasant in every way. The daily maid service is efficient and flexible. The hotel is very clean and well cared for. The breakfast is well-stocked, plentiful, and always fresh.
