First we were lied to about the pool being closed because of COVID-19 . One of the main reasons we chose here was for the pool and hot tub and there was nothing on the website about it being closed. We then we were told we could use it between 8-9pm, which confirmed the above statement to be a lie. Right before then we were
about to head down to the pool, we got a phone call saying it was under construction which we could clearly see it was not. When asked, they just said sorry with no explanation.
The next morning we tried to get room service which we were told we could. They would not bring the food to our room, so if you ask me, that’s not room service.
Then upon checkout we were accidentally charged for the room that we had already paid for through Expedia, this was minor as we were reimbursed immediately, however that is when we noticed we paid $30 per night more through Expedia than what the hotels own rate was. When we booked on hotels.com it said we were getting a deal which turns out was not the case, especially seeing as we booked 2 rooms costing us roughly $60 more total.
