Super noisy. Lots of banging above us all night long, especially between 4-7am. Doors closing loudly. People parting until 1-2am. Front desk staff unwilling to help with noise issues. Found ants in our bathroom, the shampoo and conditioner bottles had gross cracked on soap scum. Overall very disappointing, especially given the $200/night price tag.

Very nice hotel, clean, convenient. Only valet parking isn’t ideal but got lucky with street parking (3 hr limit, 8-8 daily). Restaurant food is good, staff overwhelmed though for some reason. Overall great place to star.

Limited parking since downtown but the valet service was EXCELLENT! Breakfast and dinner and bar were great. Bummer there was such a homeless population downtime and viewable on the streets and from dinner/bar.

Nice hotel in Salem
Nice location, hotel interiors are really well maintained, and clean. Lobby and "rest area" are great too! We stayed one night and would definitely recommend it to others.

Nicely remodeled! Our room was large and very clean. Convenient bar in the property.. I really liked that. The valet said they could charge my car if I needed.

Cute and modern
Super cute and modern place that was much needed in Salem. Staff were nice and accommodating. As other reviewers have noted, it is VERY loud. I didn’t mind, because I sleep with a white noise machine, but you can absolutely hear every car and train that goes by. Although the building is new, it does seem to be fairly cheaply made and already seems to be a little worn down. The biggest reason that I am giving 3 stars though is for house keeping. I’m sure it is because housekeeping is severely understaffed, but my room was a little dirty when I arrived. For one, the previous people’s trash was still in my room. There was also a phone charger that was probably left by the previous person, and there was food droppings by the couch.

Everything from checkin to check out, friendly, lots going on with Christmas stuff going on in lobby, just a great “Hotel” experience!! As for the restaurant/bar, disappointing. Service okay at best. Slow, not friendly at all. Sat directly at bar with my wife and had to ask for menus and to get a drink after quite a while. Not to mention there were only 8 others even seated in restaurant/bar. Ordered some roosters that were very, very fishy tasting. I eat oysters on the half show very often and these were very very fishy. Then, when we returned after our show at the Elsinore Theatre, we were two of about 20 people in the restaurant bar area with two male bartenders, who were completely rude, not friendly, and it seem like they were just not wanting to be there. Definitely not happy with service or bartending later in the evening and my tip showed it. Such a beautiful place. It’s a shame. It Hass to be brought down by bad staff.

While my room was mostly well-appointed, a few things were missing. There ought to be a full-length mirror, a towel rack by the vanity, and directions for the Nespresso - not everyone has this machine at home!

Fantastic!
This hotel is very nice - upscale. Free parking was a bonus. Beautiful lobby and the restaurant/bar is open late. The breakfast food we ate was delicious, and not overpriced. Room was clean and bed very comfortable! There were just a few minor things missing - nowhere to hang towels by bathroom sink, and the mirror above sink is only mirror in the room. Full-length mirror would be nice to have. Great shops and restaurants in walking distance, would stay here again!

Very nice room. Took a few calls to get bedding for the pull out sofa. Since the reservation was made for 3 people it would have been nice for the sofa bed to have been made upon arrival as I ve experienced elsewhere.

LOVE this hotel and the location. Across the street from the river and walkable distance to many restaurants. Everything about the room was beautifully updated and clean. Especially love how many towels they give in the room. Only complaint would be the pillows. They are thin as paper.

Everything was fine. Hotel was very nice… good value, location, and affordable and responsive valet service. It’s in an excellent small city location with everything available to walk to, but the sad street people that are not being taken care of is troubling.
