Hi I don’t quite know where you thought you saw there was a hot tub because most certainly there is not! And I would never suggest there is one without there actually being one. Not sure where you read that? I asked you to please let me know if you had any questions. I am only hearing about the garbage bags now! That would have been an easy fix. The barbecue issue was promptly resolved. Many guests prefer to know exactly what is expected of them upon their departure. Housekeeping staff will not do dishes and pots and pans. ( that’s where the extra fee comes in! Not for failure to strip beds!) These ‘house rules’ are available to guests prior to booking and so you were made well aware what was expected upon making your reservation.

Unfortunately, the guest must have NOT read the listing in its entirety , as I strongly encourage., and she failed to indicate the correct number of guests, which added to her fees. Furthermore, she still has an outstanding account and owes me a balance. My house is indeed walking distance to the village( less than 1km) and there is an overpass for the highway with a sidewalk.

The guest, Lise did not read the listing in its entirety as I suggest ,unfortunately . I clearly state that my rates are based on double occupancy and if you are more than 2 people , the rate increases. It also clearly says that if you want access to more than one room, ( if you’re two people) simply let me know and the other room is available for a small additional fee. The guest asked for an early arrival. I complied and yet she abused my generosity and entered the house an hour before the agreed time (and with two extra guests , no less.) The listing does not state that the fireplace is functional ( I am still waiting on a part and it appears it might have to be completely readdressed.) There is construction during the week but it’s outside and down the hill. Sometimes the stairs can be icy- it is after all, winter in Quebec- but there is always salt and a shovel until someone can attend to it. The keurig was brand new in august and no reason for it not to work, yet I returned it and it was replaced with a brand new one prior to her second visit. The barbecue was functional. A second propane tank was in the shed but she did not reach out. Our phone conversation was not a good one . I agree. There was no pleasing this guest as she was not happy to have to pay for 4 guests when her reservation was for 2 guests. Guest transparency goes a long way. Furthermore, if her first visit was so terrible, why in the world would she come back a second time. And to other hosts , I would NOT recommend this guest.
