"We arrived at Jakob after visiting the castles and was greeted by Magnus whose family owns this inn. It is quaint and well kept and it shows. The room was a nice size and comfortable. It was simple and clean and we enjoyed our stay. There is no elevator so you must be able to climb stairs to the rooms. Magnus was kind and carried my suitcase to our room. "We just had the best breakfast on the planet! Seriously! Our room was very nice with a few flaws. The carpeting is very old, hard as tile with lots of stains and wear marks. There is a three inch step by the door that is easy to trip over. The water temperature of the small shower varies. We had to park in a dirt lot a block away. The bed was very soft. But the breakfast saved the day and will be remembered. The service was very nice."

"The front desk was so EXTREMELY patient and kind to us. They were very accomadating and understanding to our language barrier. An exceptionally thoughtful young man assisted us part way to get our bus in the rain. Without his help not sure if we would have made our connections. Front desk and your man (possibly Asian) went above and beyond. Highly recommend…!"

"I had a Fantastic two-night stay here, I wished it had been longer. I had a large family room, certainly bigger than I needed but I immensely enjoyed anyway. Everything was great with the Internet sognal strong, a comfortable bed. The bath was great with plenty of hot water. The room also has a small refrigerator and an electric kettle which is rare in Europe. Plenty of Walk/run/cycle tracks on the doorstep too. I hope to stay here again and highly recommend it."
