"The rooms smell awful. The staff (especially the older restaurant staff) is rude and waits for tips without earning it. The receptionists were nice though! This five star hotel does NOT provide laundry services. They said it’s because they are really busy but the hotel was empty so that doesn’t add up. The housekeepers were always visible. "Clearly management made a bad decision, trying to blame the poor maintenance on COVID-19. I considered the lies for only 1 night (had 5 booked) and quickly moved my family to the competition just up the coast. Bran-Brad-Bega should be labeled a 2-star hotel at best. Everything about it reminded me of trips to Romania in the early 90s. Sad situations were then blamed on fallout from the revolution; now some Romanians are trying to leverage COVID-19 to mask their incompetence!"
