My husband and I and our two adult children had a fantastic stay here. Comfortable, clean and convenient. Easy check in and check out process. A very close 5 minute walk to the train, 6-7 min walk to the town’s main street and harbour, and very close to the restaurant with some of the best pizza we had in Italy. A great home base to hop the train and explore the towns of Cinque Terre. Host was very responsive to questions. I would stay here again. We travelled fairly light so the walk up to the property from the train station with our luggage was easy, if you have a lot of big pieces you may want to book a luggage taxi to bring your bags up.

Ilenia was fantastic! The home was perfect!
Ilenia met us at the train station and walked us to the home. It is situated on a quiet street close to the action but early tucked away for quiet time. She also provided us with multiple discount cards to use at shops and restaurants around town. Finally, she sat us down and walked us through the train, boat, tour and hike schedules and options. It was a perfect home away from home. We cooked one of the nights and the kitchen is super user friendly. We loved the home and would definitely stay there again! -Agnes &Mike

Amazing Stay in Cinque Terre!
I spent three nights in the Cinque Terre property with my family of four and found the accommodations to be perfect. We had plenty of space to lounge around when we were tired from our hiking before heading out again in the evenings. The location is perfect in its proximity to the train and the rest of the town. The Bar at the station serves excellent coffee and pastries for breakfast and sandwiches for lunch. We enjoyed Riomaggiore the most of all the towns for its casual and relaxed vibe. The trains were frequent enough to visit all of the towns in one day and were crowded during the day with visitors on day trips. We really enjoyed the quiet of the evenings. Ilenia was a wonderful host who met us at the station and walked us up the hill to the apartment. She provided a lot of information to get us started on our trip. We enjoyed our stay in this charming apartment and village and would definitely stay there again!

Convenient location
Good location next to train station without the inconvenience of hearing the train. Host was friendly and communicative. Room had a living area and bedroom that were open to each other without doors. One double bed that was daily comfortable and one pullout sofa that was not that was thin but good enough for two nights. Small bathroom that could use some hooks and more storage space. Tiny shower stall with good water pressure but grout could use harder scrubbing.. The suite is ground level so we found some garden bugs in the room and it could’ve used another coat of paint to make it look cleaner. Path lights outside and glass door equals to a room that isn’t dark enough for proper sleep. Overall it wasn’t the best condition or most comfortable place but if you are looking for a convenient location for a short stay this will work.

Ilenia was at the train station to meet us and showed us to the apartment, a short distance away. Admittedly it is uphill but not too bad. She was very helpful and friendly. The apartment is very spacious and fairly well equipped.The little yard is comfortable and was a great spot to have morning coffee or late afternoon drink. I would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful cottage close to Train
This place is just moments away from the train station and is even more quaint than the pictures suggest. It is a small standalone cottage at the end of the road. We loved it and The hosts were fantastic - after we locked ourselves out on accident they were very quick to help us out and very nice about everything. Would 100% recommend.

Great location
Overall an excellent place to stay! Ilenia met us at the train station which is only 3-4 minutes from the apartment and gave us tips about Riomaggiore and Cinque Terre. Clean, comfortable bed, table outside the apartment to eat, quiet area of town. We loved it!

Nice apartment
Very modern and clean. Enjoyed the patio after a long day. Only complaint is the entire town is very steep. Hard if you are doing lots of exploring. I would recommend staying in Vernazza if you can. Much more of a local feel and not so steep to go anywhere.

Great place to stay!!
We stayed here two nights - a family of 5 with 3 teenagers. The host was very friendly and organized. She gave us lots of information about how and what to do and provided us with some small discounts for a few local things as well. There is A/C, which we appreciated for sleeping when the days are so hot! Really liked the village as well - not as over run with tourists as some of the others along the train track. Clean, new and fully stocked - the only thing we were short of was toilet paper... Would highly recommend this host and apartment!

Nice Stay
Great little apartment, which is conveniently located not far from the train. No steps are needed to get to it. The apartment is quiet, clean and has a small outdoor table, and had a place to hang wet wash if needed. The owner was easy to work with.

Ilenia made everything so easy!
Ilenia took time to meet us at the train station, showed the apartment to us, provided us with discounts at local restaurants ... and most importantly showed us where to get the hiking trail to for the Cinque Terre hike to Monterroso. The trails between Riomaggiore and Corniglia were closed, so we took the alternate trail, which was definitely challenging - but worth it! The apartment is in a great location, is clean, safe ... we would stay again! So nice to have been so close to the train station!

Great Location!
We really enjoyed our stay in Riomaggiore. It was very close to the train station (2 minute walk) and the town had a couple of great swimming spots to utilize after the 25 km hike. The apartment had everything we needed for our short stay and slept 5 of us comfortably. The host was also very helpful with recommending where to get groceries and what restaurants to utilize.

Loved Cinque Terre! This was a perfect apartment
Very clean Apartment with everything you need (other than laundry washer) but we didn't need it for the time we were there . The location in Riomaggiore was perfect for us. We only had a short time to see everything and this place was close to the hiking trail to Manorola and only 3 minute walk from the train station. The place was at the end of a street which was very quiet and right next to an awesome Creek that ran right out front of the apartment. Ilenia was awesome and met us at the train station and we walked to the apartment for her to show us everything we needed to know and gave us tips for seeing the Cinque Terre. Highly recommended this place as well as the Cinque Terre. A must see.

Just what we wanted
We just spent 5 lovely days here. The pictures are accurate, the place very clean and everything works. Illenia met us at the station and walked us up the 150 yards to her place. It is a very quiet location yet close to the station and less than a 5 minute walk to the Main Street in town where all the restaurants are. Lots of space with a bathroom, kitchen dinning room area and bedroom on an open design. It appears to be a converted garage so it is stand alone so you do not have any noise from neighbours. The kitchen is well enough equipped to cook most things and it has a full sized fridge. It does not get much in the way of sun and it only has two windows and a glass fronted door. The price is very reasonable for what you get and Illenia is a delightful person with good local knowledge. Get her to tell you where to eat!

Good Location
This is one of three VRBO properties we stayed at in Italy. The location is very good being that it is close to the train station. We did appreciate the owner meeting us at the train station to take us to the property. It is up a rather sleep hill (no steps) to the self-contained cottage - quiet, clean and safe. It is for these reasons we have rated it with 4stars. We did find this property somewhat disappointing. We found the pictures nicer than the cottage itself. It is by no means a luxurious place to stay, really pretty basic. No toiletries are provided including bath soap, there are no wine glasses, cups have chips, quality of the furnishings, etc. We found this property expensive for what we got, particularly when we compare it to the other VRBO properties we stayed at.

I expect all of my customers at the station, often with long delays, to offer them a warm welcome. the apartment is completely new as well as you can see from the photos and all customers love just the fact the photos reflect the reality of the furniture. The house is stocked with glasses, plates, pots, tablecloths and dishes I do not know so much you wanted to find and that could make it more enjoyable your holiday. thanks anyway for your review.

Very Nice & Cozy
Nice and cozy studio apartment at the top of the hill in Riomaggiore. It's a little hike up the hill but everything is on a hill! We quickly got used to the hills. Very sweet owner met us at the train station and then she walked us up to the apartment. Great location directly up the hill from the train station. The place is very nice and very comfy with a little patio outside. Would definitely recommend and will definitely stay here again on a return trip!

Perfect location and great host
Ilenia met us at the train station and escorted us to the perfectly located place. The amenities were great and the place was very clean. Ilenia did a great job of providing an overview of the area and answered our questions regarding getting around. Even though we were only a 3 minute walk to the train station, we couldn't hear any noise at all. With our stay in the apartment, we were given discounts for local eateries and shops. We would definitely stay here again!

"The Garage Apartment"
We loved this apartment and Ilenia was very nice. It was very clean and comfortable. It was small but served our needs, which was showering and sleeping. We were out touring most of the time. It was away from the main street areas and quite, which was nice. We sat outside several times to enjoy the morning and evening air. Everything was within walking distances and the train station was just down the street. I highly recommend this apartment for some good rest and relaxation.

What a perfect little apartment
We really enjoyed staying in this little apartment which was very well set out. It's proximity to the train station, especially with no stairs was excellent and we greatly appreciated Ilena meeting us at the station and showing us directly to the front door. It was only a short little walk to the main street where we followed some of Ilena's suggestions for meals with great results. The apartment is far enough away from the busy main street that noise and passing tourists were never an issue. A colleague is booked to stay in this apartment later this year and I messaged her during our stay that we had found a definite winner.

Great base for exploring Cinque Terre
Ilenia met us at the train station and walked us up the hill to her place by a little stream. The little house was clean, well furnished with everything you need, even a little patio for sitting outside although it doesn't get too much sun. Ilenia was charming and helpful with lots of tips of what to do and where to shop for food. This is a great location for exploring Cinque Terre as it is not as touristy as Vernazza or Monterosso and it is nice and close to the train station unlike Corniglia -- which was a favourite town to visit after climbing 375 stairs from the train station. There is a lot to see in Riomaggiore -- be prepared for lots of stairs! We hiked over the hill to Manarola -- beware, it is a steep climb up and over the 'hill' since the 'Lovers Walk' was closed due to a rockslide. Otherwise, it is only 1.80 euros and 2 minutes by train.

Excellent location in Riomaggiore
This apartment was just right for our 2 day stay in Riomaggiore. Thank goodness for its location close to the train station since we had so many suitcases and would never have been able to climb additional hills or steps. We slept well and would recommend this place for a couple or family with one child. Ilenia met us at the train station and was an excellent host. We loved our time in Cinque Terre. Thank you for a great stay!

Comfortable and Convenient
We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment in the beautiful Cinque Terre. The owner was very nice and made sure we were well situated in the apartment and had information on what to do during our stay. The place is also very quiet as there are no neighboring apartments adjoining to it. It is a convenient short walk to the Riomaggiore train station. As another reviewer had mentioned, there is no wifi and this is perhaps the only thing that would have made our stay more convenient, but there is a cafe at the bottom of the hill with free wifi. Overall, definitely recommended and we would stay again.

Great location and very clean
We enjoyed our stay here very much. It was a short walk up a small hill from the train station and very centrally located. The house was very well equipped and had a nice layout. Ilenna was a great host. She met us at the train station and gave us the lay of the land. Rio maggiore was a beautiful little town and everyone was quite friendly. Wonderful property and location!
My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and loved the little apartment and the location. Riomaggiore is a storybook village and this apartment provides access to some great trails. The apartment is clean and had everything we needed including drying racks so we could wash out some clothes and dry them outside just like the locals do! The apartment is 5 minutes from the train station, an uphill walk but still an easy walk for two seniors. Ilenia met us and was very helpful answering all our questions. We had some confusion about working the stove so we called her and she responded immediately. It was all user error, it was working fine and she explained it to us. Highly recommend this place. We would definitely go back!

Soggiorno fantastico nel paesino meraviglioso di Riomaggiore. La casa delle oche è situata in una posizione perfetta e strategica per potersi godere al massimo il paesino, sfruttare al meglio tutti i servizi disponibili per spostarsi e godersi anche il mare e la spiaggia. La casa si presenta fin da subito molto accogliente e calorosa. Dispone di ogni servizio, è perfettamente accessoriata e curata in ogni minimo dettaglio, ogni angolo della casa rende infatti il soggiorno molto piacevole e confortevole. La proprietaria è super disponibile e all’accoglienza offre moltissime indicazioni per rendere il vostro soggiorno il più bello possibile (ci ha spiegato come muoversi tra le cinque terre e non solo,consigliato dove poter mangiare e cosa visitare, regalandoci anche buoni sconti in ristoranti/bar). La casa è moderna ed anche ogni suo componente infatti è nuovo è ben funzionante. Altro punto a favore è la posizione della casa: molto comoda per ogni necessità ma allo stesso tempo anche isolata che vi permette molta privacy durante il vostro soggiorno. Consiglio molto questo soggiorno sia per l’appartamento in se che ci ha reso la vacanza meravigliosa ed anche per il paesino, Riomaggiore,che è a mio parere il posto migliore in cui soggiornare per poter visitare al meglio tutte le cinque terre.

Nice appartment in Riomaggiore.
Perfect for a vacation in Cinque Terre. The appartment was nice and clean, and it had everything we needed. The location was perfect, only a two minute walk from the train station. Our host waited for us in the train station and gave us information and tips.
