“Convenient and close to the Metro”
The Atlantico Copacabana is just across the street from the Siguera Campos Metro Station. This makes it easy to travel around Rio in the air conditioned comfort. The front desk always has an english speaking representative. Breakfast at the hotel is a sumptuous buffet. I stayed on a lower floor and was not troubled by noise. This also proved helpful when there was a wait for the elevator. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

“Outstanding stay again!”
Had another superb stay at Hotel Atlantico. Despite undergoing renovations, the staff goes above and beyond to insure that their guest have a great stay, The breakfast is available daily from 6:00 to 10:00, sometimes later allowing flexibility in day to day activities. The location, directly in front of the Siquiera Campos Metro and buses let's guests enjoy going all over the city for a very good value. There are at least 3 large supermarkets within 1 or 2 blocks from the hotel where you could purchase necesities, farmacies, etc. The center af Copacabana beach is 3 blocks away. It is just a great place to stay and tremendous value for the budget concious customer. Their internet fees have been lowered from 20 Reals a day to 15 reals a day for those who need it. It would be much better for it to be free but it what it is.
“Good Choice”
Good location in Bustling Copacabana neighborhood across street from subway and near banks and other services. Can walk to beach. Breakfast was very nice. Rooms were good. Internet service with hotel computers in lobby was very useful. No complaints at all.

Convenient location at Metro station, short walk to the beach, shops, restaurants. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was polite, friendly and very helpful. Great Pool and Gym on the roof. Great breakfast buffet, lots of food and fresh fruit. WiFi signal weak but workable. Would definitely stay again next trip.
“Excellent value and location”
Quality but older hotel (I'd guess 1970s), a little worn in places, but superb location and excellent value for money. Reception people spoke good English. Great breakfast buffet in bright, renovated dining room. Beach an easy 4 block walk. Opposite a metro station, which is also the terminus for two integrated metro/express bus lines, one of which goes to all the southern beaches (Coco, Ipanema, Leblon and beyond), therefore great location for seeing all the main Rio sites. Walkable to Sugar Loaf (about 1.5 miles). Supermarkets, cafes, pizza places, resturants all within 2 blocks. We felt safe walking around. Overall, we could not have been more satisfied. Only downside was some street noise, so try for high-up room.

Shame the pool/sauna didn't seem to be working/available as that was one feature I was looking for when booking a hotel. Front desk exceptionally helpful.
“A realxed ,safe and friendly atmosphere”
We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel, the staff were friendly and the hotel was very clean, also a great location only a few blocks back from the beach.
