Working farm n equestrian center. The only thing I didn’t like was the second floor bedroom, up steep flight with no railing, just the walls. The outside was perfect….many walking trails and multiple farm animals that our granddaughter liked. Plus playground.

The property is like a mini resort. I absolutely loved staying here. Our cabin was nice and cozy. It is a bit of a crazy uphill drive, but totally worth the effort! Excellent breakfast options as well.

Poor Experience more of a motel, not a resort.
The views were amazing and our family had a great time at the pool, otherwise this place was very disappointing. The food options for lunch were either extremely limited and average at best or identical to the dinner menu with no pizza options. It very creative or fun when there are no other options within 4 kilometres. The service and friendly was of the staff was horrible outside of our evening waitress and the head chef. Everyone was rude and unwelcoming, we always felt like we were a bother and walking on pins and needles. The facilities are extremely outdated and felt dirty, especially as there is no cleaning service/daily housekeeping. The items in the room are in on the condition that the prior person left them in and there are not normal things provided like soaps. Our bathroom smelled like a wet dog and I’m sure there is mold in the walls. We had to have the windows open the whole stay to limit the smell. The shuttle service is also a rip off as they will only take you to the local train station for 50€ (60€ if not cash) and you can get a local taxi to and from Florence for 80€ total. The horse rides were fun for the kids, but at an additional cost and not easy to set up as they are not part of the actual hotel come to find out. Last, there was a wedding and an additional private party during our stay(not advertised at all) that took up the possibility of any additional lunch/drink options during the day and the ration of the restaurant staff at dinner.

It was a perfect out of the way location with AMAZING views!! We weren’t told that breakfast was extra ( it wasn’t even a great breakfast) until we were checking out. The road is very curvy getting there but worth it for a relaxing time away from crowds. Some of the people were extremely helpful and others didn’t want to be bothered. We stayed away from the restaurant for dinner, filled with tourist buses

Great base Location
Very Spacious and clean room with Balcony and great view. It was beautiful waking up to the fog rolling over the mountains. Property was vast, somewhat unkempt, but pretty. We had a very good dinner at the restaurant, but with limited selection only opted to eat there once. Lots of very cool places to visit within an hour.

This hotel is out of nowhere. Had a room at the furthers point. Staff wasnt helpful with our complaint. Had to lose our money and move out to a different hotel. Expedia gave the wrong address so spent a day to get to our hotel and wasted 1 whole day. Very disappointed overall☹

Beautiful views!!
Really nice hotel with amazing views of the Tuscan hills. No cetral water heater, each bathroom has a water geyser and it takes about 30 minutes to heat the water for a shower so don’t leave the hot water running. Hotel is on a huge property with two pools, stable, and we also saw a goat, doves, hens and ducks!! It is on top of a hill so the drive at night on the single road can be a little scary but the sunset from the hotel was amazing. Will defiantly book again.

Beautiful setting
We enjoyed our stay at this historic place that provided us a base for our tours of Florence and Tuscany. The views were breath taking! It took 45 minutes or more down winding roads to get to Florence. The staff was very accommodating.

Beautiful but remote location...kind of hard to find...would have loved to take the cooking class but a private class was in session when we arrived. Lovely friendly environment.Could use more signage for office,dining,parking. Lighting on path to apartment too little..Also advise travelers to use mosquito repellent...I had so many bites!! Truffle pasta and wild boar stew amazing...great and well priced wine! thank you . Great place for outdoor enthusiasts!!!

Excellent hotel for peace and quiet
This is a fantastic hotel for the money. The room was large and comfortable and the facilities very good including two swimming pools. The accomodation is in blocks spread out around the very nice grounds and the staff were very helpful. The location is a fair way from Florence up in the mountains which makes it peaceful and quiet - just the job. Buffet meal with a man with a guitar on the Thursday was very good. Highly recommended.

Beautiful place, but difficult to find
Fattoria degli Usignoli is exactly how I had pictured a Tuscan hotel. The grounds were beautiful, and a perfect place to relax. We visited in April so it was quiet except for the workers bustling about getting ready for the tourist season. The owner was accommodating, but quite reserved. The rest of the staff were extremely friendly, especially the girl who served the breakfast area by herself and also helped in the restaurant at night. The breakfast buffet was substantial. In addition to the typical Italian breakfast of a croissant and coffee (which was served with hot, steamed milk in a separate pitcher) were plates of prosciutto cotto, salumi and cheese as well as hard boiled eggs, breads, yogurt, canned fruits, cereal, juice and milk. Nothing exotic, but tasty. The hotel's restaurant is adequate with a nice atmosphere, but not the best food we had in Italy by any means. However, not many other restaurant options close by. Pastas are probably a better choice than sides or main dishes. Gnocci with leeks and pasta with mushrooms were both good. Ribeye steak came sliced over arugula. Flavor was good, but the quality of the meat was not. Our issue with this hotel was finding it after dark. Directions on Google are not the same way the hotel recommends from Florence. After describing where we were, a staff member kindly came to get us in a nearby church parking lot. I would go back now knowing how to get there, but most importantly would make sure my GPS was working!

La struttura in se è abbastanza datata e avrebbe bisogno a mio parere di una bella rinfrescata. Gli spazi esterni sono molto belli ma quando siamo stati noi erano inaccettabili : laghetto con acqua verde piena di batteri e sporca da far.... con i poveri pesci all'interno, lavori in corso con operai vari che impastavano cemento e facevano rumore. La ragazza alla reception non ci ha spiegato nulla nonostante fossero pubblicizzati varie escursioni all'esterno della vetrata. Colazione 9 euro a persona da dimenticare. La campagna circostante è bellissima e nel periodo di aprile cui siamo stati noi in piena primavera era incantevole.

Beliggenheden og omgivelserne er fantastiske. Rengøringen er meget dårligt. Et tyk lag af støv og spindelvæv, ulækker håndvask. Ingen kedel til at varme vand til kaffen, ingen bestik. Vi fik en lejlighed som slet ikke svarer til billederne ( ved ikke om det er hotellet eller Expedia ansvar) uengageret personale, vi fik stukket en nøgle i hånden og det var det.

Noi l'abbiamo fatta fuori,dove si stava molto bene,essendo la mattina presto. Ma c'erano molte vespe La sera alle 22 non abbiamo trovato nessuno in reception,pur essendo aperta e avendo provato a suonare Faretti a terra lungo i percorsi della struttura tutti non funzionanti Quasi tutti i vasi erano vuoti o con piante morte dentro Nel complesso posto magnifico ma senza quasi alcuna cura. (Solo la parte dedicata agli eventi sembrava sufficientemente curata) Nota positiva: il rapporto qualità prezzo rimane buono perche abbiamo speso poco per pernottamento e colazione.

Buongiorno, purtroppo siamo senza acqua da fine Giugno, la siccità ci ha costretti a scegliere che parte di parco e quali fiori salvare, siamo in emergenza idrica da quasi 50 giorni ormai.
