Dear Larry,Unfortunately, we are not surprised by your comment, even though we would have preferred you to have had a good time in our hotel.We will nevertheless have to tell the truth to future guests who will read your comments.Our hotel does not have a lift; this is indicated everywhere. However, you were in the ground floor's largest room in your chosen category. An elevator couldn't have been helpful.All our receptionists offer help with luggage for all our guests and have done so for 10 years.It's also been 10 years since we chose not to include breakfast in our room rates, as only some have breakfast, and it's not fair to charge it to everyone.This is also specified on our website and that of the agency you booked with. Why criticize it after the fact and judge it without trying it (there is no muffin, only the fresh pastries)?Parking is 28 Canadian per night, not 75. When you book, it is indicated (that there is no valet parking) that you will have to go to reception to know the number of the space. Our guests can stop in front of the hotel with flashers on. So you can drop off your luggage at the same time. You didn't listen to anything when you arrived; you knew everything. You prefer to go to the car park and return with your luggage. That was your decision.We won't go back over the size of the spaces (normals); we're lucky to be one of only 5 hotels in Old Quebec to have private parking (which is generally appreciated). Public car parks are available to further afield...According to the surveillance cameras, nobody came near your car during your stay.If you have lost half your tank, it's somewhere else.When you book, check in, and check-out, on your keys and the TV, we offer a free downloadable app (which all our guests love!) that advises you on restaurants, tours, museums, activities, hotel services ... fireworks. And although you may have ignored it every morning, a concierge is on hand every day from 7 am to 9 pm. So you can't say you've had little assistance. You didn't ask for it.Thanks to this application, we send a message on the first morning to ensure your stay is going well and to correct things if necessary. So as soon as we received yours, we dealt with the problem immediately. However, you indicated that you wanted to avoid management contacting you.Now for the noise from your neighbors.We apologized. As the hotel was fully booked, we had no other solution for you. We intervened with your neighbors. We insisted and even blocked the sound of their television. And, to tell the whole truth, out of the 4 nights you spent at the hotel, your neighbors left the last 2 days to visit the region, so they didn't sleep there. And your room has no adjoining rooms. Noise is real for 2 nights maximum.In your message, which we have retained, you noted that you did not want to be contacted, and as you ignored us every morning, we could not know how the rest of your stay was going.The decision to cancel the fi
