Private Blue Ridge Mountain Creekside Cabin with Hot Tub - Wifi

Escape to this charming rustic-luxury log cabin situated beside a cascading creek in the peaceful woods of the Blue Ridge Mountains. We are very close to both Wonderlust Acres and Sky Retreat!

Note: Please see our pet policy and pet fee below before booking. Please also note below about driving through the creek.

If you are looking to get away from it all, then Cozy Creek Cabin is the secluded mountain retreat you have been searching for. This custom built log cabin is located off the beaten path, yet centrally located in the mountains of Wilkes County with an approximate 30 minute drive to West Jefferson or Wilkesboro, and an approximate 40 minute drive to Boone. With a less than 15 minute drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway, this location is ideal if you would like your own personal mountain creekside hideaway far removed from the hustle and bustle.

As you arrive and step out of your vehicle, the first thing you hear is the rushing sound of the bold creek that surrounds the property. Tall timber towers over you as you approach the deck, showcasing the large stone chimney and the all glass front of the cabin.

As you enter the great room, you will find hand-sawn pine floors, leather furnishings, cozy rugs and throws, and a wood-burning stove fireplace. Firewood is provided!

But you won’t have to be completely disconnected, unless you want to. The cabin has 1 GIG Fiber WIFI for all your streaming or business needs, cable TV, and a 52” Smart TV with access to all of your streaming accounts. The 20 ft. high vaulted ceiling highlights a custom cedar stair case that leads to a loft with vintage arcade game overlooking the great room.

The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, granite farmhouse sink and solid wood cabinetry. It is stocked with essentials like dishes, cutlery, flatware, pots, pans, utensils, blender, drip coffee maker and a Keurig. There is a full washer and dryer in the mud room, so feel free to go for a hike or play in the creek, because clean-up is a breeze.

The main level primary bedroom features a king bed, its own flat screen smart TV, and French doors that lead out to the deck, where you will find a high quality Hot Spring hot tub, perfect for romantic nights. The master bath features a custom cedar barn door, tile flooring, an antique claw foot tub, separate glass shower and a custom vessel sink vanity made from a large cedar tree.

The second bedroom is located upstairs and features a very comfy queen bed. A full bath is also located upstairs. The leather sofa in the living area of the first floor is a queen size sleeper sofa.

The best features of Cozy Creek Cabin greet you as you step outside. Sit on the covered porch in the oversize rocking chairs, or catch some rays on the sun deck, or play a game of cornhole. Bring your smores and chill out at the fire pit located just steps away from the soothing view and sounds of the bubbling creek.

Cozy Creek Cabin was built in an idyllic mountain wilderness setting to provide peace and tranquility and an escape from the stresses of everyday life. We invite you to relax and unwind at Cozy Creek Cabin.

*Please note that our cabin is in a very remote location. There is a place where you traverse the creek in your vehicle just before you reach the cabin. It does not require a 4 wheel drive vehicle, as it is very shallow at the crossing point, but vehicles with a higher ground clearance are recommended, such as a small, mid or full size SUV or truck. There is no cell phone reception at the cabin, however you can use your cell phone on our WIFI connection by enabling WIFI calling in your phone's settings. There is also a house phone for guests to use at no charge.

Pet Policy: We accept pets at Cozy Creek for an additional fee. There is a 2 dog limit and no dogs under 1 year of age are allowed. We REQUIRE that you crate your pet if you will be leaving them at the cabin unattended at all. The pet fee is $29 per night for one dog, and an additional $15 per night for a second dog and is non-refundable. Please contact us before booking if you are bringing 2 dogs so we can adjust the pet fee, as it is default for one dog.

WINTER WARNING:
The North Carolina mountains are prone to snow and icy conditions during the winter months. The cabin is located on a gravel road. A 4-wheel drive vehicle will be required if there is snow during your stay. We have driven from the cabin in 6 inches of snow in a 4 wheel drive truck with no issues.

Paradise
This was our 1st time to the cabin and needless to say we have already booked our 2nd trip for this Fall. It is absolutely paradise! My husband and I needed to break away from the demands of everyday life and this place has allowed us to enjoy the silence of nature! The sound of the creek, the breeze blowing thru the trees, watching the butterflies, eating our meals on the porch, sitting by the fire pit watching the water in the creek, all while having the conveniences of everything you need in the cabin! The pictures are exactly what you see! The cabin was very clean and was well stocked with dishes, grill tools, etc. All we had to bring were clothes and groceries! This place is special! We are so lucky to have found it!!

Absolutely beautiful!
This really is a 10/10 property! We stayed here 3 nights for our anniversary and loved it. Beautiful cabin, LOVE the stream and rushing water out back, the Edison lights overhead at night, and the fire pit. Plus, secluded and quiet. Loved the hot tub and that they have it professionally cleaned between each visit. Inside, everything was so cozy. Comfortable bed, Kitchen with plenty of gear for fixing meals and coffee, a big screen TV, and fiber Internet with WiFi. Yes, 1GB fiber way out in the woods! Our hosts were really top notch--friendly, great communications, everything as advertised and met or exceeded our expectations. This really is a gem--we've already booked a return visit!

In love with this property ❤️
My wife and I had an absolutely perfect weekend getaway at this gorgeous cabin on this beautiful piece of property. Everything needed was provided by the owners and the home was spotlessly clean upon our arrival. We will definitely be back and I think a lot of our friends are now wanting to check it out. Can’t blame them! Thanks for sharing your cabin with us!

Great Getaway
Our stay was a good as advertised. The running creek, wood ready for the fireplace, and all the amenities we need for the weekend. Our group was sad when we had to leave. We hope to come back again.

I wish I would have booked a longer stay
My family of 5 had the fortune of staying in this cabin for 4 nights. I was delighted by it's warm and thoughtful decor that really set the mood for a mountain vacation. The creek is picturesque and added to the overall serene feeling of the property. The cabin had plenty of linens and pillows. There were lots of special touches that added to our pleasure. I felt I was staying at a friend's home and not a stranger's rental. The kitchen was well appointed so we easily prepared several meals at the cabin. The location is a little remote but that's what we wanted. The roads around the area are well maintained and easily traversed in our 2 wheel drive SUV. Driving through the hard bottomed Creek was exciting! We were provided plenty of firewood. One of the best parts of our time was our wonderful hostess, Mitzi. I found her to be incredibly helpful and responsive to any questions I had. I might have waited 5 minutes at most when I had a late night wildlife question. She consistently went above and beyond to accommodate us. I would gladly recommend this cabin to anyone.
