Very disappointed overall with this resort. It had all the potential but the delivery was awful. The food was not a representation of Caribbean Dominican flavors nor any variety. One onsite restaurant that had limited choices and booking was a nightmare. The jacuzzi in the room was dingy. The staff some were very rude. The only staff that really tried was the entertainment group. I’ve stayed in many hotels in DR, this is by far the worst. So upset paid vacation that was not worth it.

Entretenimiento,ok, me quede din luz ni agua dentro de la bañera, me quede encerrada en un baño publico sin poder salir, baños sin papel de mano, toilet paper, pisos mojados, moscas en el restaurante buffet, mi esposo tuvo 2 dias enfermo con diarrea, yo con un ojo super irritado, la mayoria de los empleados con malas caras, tal parece que no quieren trabajar, cubiertos incompletos, larga espera por agua, cafe, etc. En lugar del staff darme mos buenos dias, yo era quien mos daba y no todos contestaban. Quede muy decepcionada, muchos mosquitos, no elevadores, sin vista alguna, mala actitud xe parte del staff. No pienso volver a hospedarme en Bahia Principe Grant Turquesa y que pena fue nuestra primera vez

It was a very unfortunate stay. From.thr check in staff to the buffet and bar staff not one of them where pleasant. Whenever a question was asked they were cluless or had an attitude. Not even a good morning. The food was alao a disappointment. They one good thing to some extent was the entertainment staff but they were also limited. How much as i love visiting DR it was my family 1st time and tjey didnt have a good experience.

First of all the employees are wonderful and some go out of their way to help, however the first room we were assigned was dirty and both the air conditioning and refrigerator did not work. The room was dirty and in urgent need of renovation. The first night they denied me food at the buffet because I arrived 3 minutes after closing time and they didn't even let me get something to take to my room. Mosquitoes are terrible. I have at least 40 mosquito bites on each leg and there is no fumigation whatsoever.The buffet is full of flies, some landing on the cutlery and even on the food, which was always cold. It was my first time at this resort and I can assure you that it will be the last.

We ended up upgrading to the Eameralda Luxury resort because it was the only resort on the Bahia property that you didnt have to shuttle to the beach The food at the buffet was really good and the staff was pleasant. The Al a Carte restaurants however were sub par. The pools were great and the water temp was perfect. The drinks were also not great, definitely not top shelf liquor. The room was beautiful, but the linens always smelled like they weren't allowed to dry properly and the TV quality is horrible. Overall, this resort is good for pool, beach fun and the buffet. 7/10 for me.

Property is really old compared ro the other 8 hotels. Buffet is not very big, not many options to choose from. The rooms are not too modern, thats not that bad but under the bed is really dirty and the pillows smell weird. I do not ussually complain but the service shpuld be better. I would prefer to pay more to get more service. The staff is super nice.

Service was excellent, staff were very attentive. Food was good, there was a great variety. Drinks didn’t taste like others of the same kind that I’ve had before and bartenders weren’t very knowledgeable but they were very cordial. Cups weren’t so clean but everything else was. We had a great time!

The rooms, particularly the bathroom, needs to be better cleaned. Also, the rooms need to be updated, i.e. - walls need to be stripped and redone. Also, the ceiling in the bathroom needs to be replaced and the tub needs to be unclogged.

I liked absolutely everything—a large selection of food and drinks. Choose pools according to your preferences, such as where it is quieter, where it is noisier with music and a pool bar, and where it is suitable for games for children. You can conveniently get to the beach and back. During our stay, we could visit any four restaurants to choose from, which were very pleasant and varied for relaxation. Also, the hotel always has different entertainment programs during the day and evening; you can always check their schedule. The mattresses on the beds didn’t suit me; they were too hard, but that’s not a minus; it just didn’t suit me. My husband felt comfortable. I definitely would like to come back.

I like everything except for the fact that reservations for a la carte are limited. I should be able to reserve as many a la carte dinners as i want during my stay and i don't want to be limited to only one buffet.

The grounds are nice. The room is full of mold including the cushions on the chairs. Doors in public restroom in pool swollen not able to fully lock and when opening almost impossible. Food is not kept at proper temperatures some things appeared off entertainment was the only good portion. I left after first night paid the flight change difference and left. Very unfortunate.

Huge property with many pools and a nice size beach. There are “shuttles” (open air good cart) that conveniently transport you around the expansive resort should you be too hot, tired, lazy, or full (all-inclusive) to walk throughout the expansive resort. Lots of opportunities to find things to do on site (mini golf, bike tours, and activities arranged by activities staff) or just relax. Friendly staff and swim- up bars. We brought our 11 year old son and everyone gad a fun time. A little noisy if your room is close to nightly entertainment, but there are many rooms away from that if you desire. We did a couple of excursions and are glad we didn’t rent a car - I wouldn’t want to drive off-site as people drive crazy in DR!

Additionally, the absence of proper ventilation or a fan in the bathroom resulted in a persistently gloomy and foggy environment post-shower, highlighting a significant oversight in design. Furthermore, the lack of a comforter in the bedding arrangement, necessitating the request for blankets from the front desk, was disappointing, compounded by their unpleasant odor upon delivery, hinting at potential hygiene concerns. Nevertheless, it is imperative to commend the exemplary service the staff provided, who exhibited professionalism and friendliness throughout my stay. Furthermore, the culinary offerings surpassed expectations, with delicious food adding a notable positive aspect to the experience. Moving forward, I would suggest prioritizing updates and improvements to the accommodations, ensuring they align with the overall standard of excellence the resort aspires to maintain. Enhancing the room's ambiance and functionality would undoubtedly contribute to a more welcoming and satisfactory guest experience, alleviating the disappointment encountered during my visit.

We had a great stay. The staff members were super friendly and the onsite transportation was very easy to use and super convenient. The beds in the hotel room were a little hard but everything else was fine. The buffet has many options and offered new foods for each meal. The entertainment by the pool and the shows in the theater were good as well. Overall we had a great time.

We had very bad experience in the hotel, very poor customer service, I can say they are ignore your needs, the first day I had issue with the door in my room after we checked in, so 3 times keys did not works and we have to go to the office uback and forth so I ask manager to go with me on the third time and see what going on ( it’s long walk to the main office ), so he cannot opened the door to, he called for service, and finally at 8 pm we got to the room, manager told us to do report, we did it. I found better place to transfer, so I ask to return me money for first night, and here we go, we cannot find supervisor. We are highly not recommending this place, rooms dirty, customer service very bad, the food is terrible.

The room was not clean the bed was making noise as soon you turn around. The lamp the table and the drawers all dusty and dirty. The bathroom faucet sink bath shower all dirty and god knows how old were those all rusty. There were no blankets just one thin bed sheet to cover. Some staff were very but some they treat you based on color and language. Limited food only one option buffet. You can do only 2 restaurants reservations not more than that per family. Overall the rooms and hotels needs remodeling very old and rusty place. No phone outlets no USB in this ERA surprisingly. We felt it was pricey compared to property and food. Overall PRICEY

When you book they say you can enjoy all the resorts within the Bahia Principe Complex…. when you get there; it is a different story: The girl at the buffet told us to leave because the bavaro guest can not eat at the buffet of the turquesa …. Everyone was looking at us and my family felt humiliated….. We paid for 7 nights for a family of 3 and we had to change rooms 4 times because of issues with the rooms, and then we get humiliated at the Buffet ? never more ….
