Very beautiful hotel right on the beach.

Posted 17-Dec-2014
Pros: The hotel is right on the beach but also the condominiums are right in the mountain and it has a trolley to take the customers to their rooms.
Cons: Even knowing the food is gourmet it will be good to add to la cart some authentic Mexican dishes
Location: The Hotel is in the south part of town by Mismoloya beach one the most blessed green areas in Puerto Vallarta the Palms are beautiful
This is the best hotel in Puerto Vallarta we stay at Garza Blanca for 7 days the first 4 days we stay with the all inclusive plan and the last 3 days we stay on the European plan, Garza Blanca gave us an up grade on our room in the last 3 nights of our stay upon Expedia's request it was the most beautiful room we have ever stay in Mexico, Way to go Expedia that takes care of their customers

Pros: the whole experience with excellent amenities. Security was amazing

Beautiful hotel away from the hustle and bustle!

Posted 26-Nov-2014
Pros: Mostly the location, being in a private place away from downtown. The beautiful infinity pools and awesome views from the junior panoramic suites.
Cons: More golf cart service to get you from the towers to lower levels. Quite often we were waiting quite awhile. As well some new golf carts ours broke.
Location: Location is about 10-15 minutes from downtown by rental. The zoo is about 10-15 minutes the other way. If beach is good there is kayaking.
This was our second visit to Garza. Our reason for going back was the magnificent location of this hotel. The panoramic view from the junior suites is truly incredible. The infinity pools are terrific. Service is usually excellent as well. The only downfalls is the wait and inconvenience of the ride up to the towers. Seems like you kind of have to plan your day if you don't want to be waiting for golf carts to go up and down or walking down with all your things. If you want close access to room and beach the towers do get a bit tiresome. However, the location and set up of this hotel is truly magnificent. Sadly this time we had no beach as the last hurricane seems to have washed away all the sand. We only were able to swim a couple of times as was quite rough and only rocks to walk over to go swimming not very safe. So unfortunately the noise from the machinery by beach and machinery by new tower was a lot of noise to deal with this time. However, even with all that we did enjoy our stay and would recommend this place as we did take friends with us this time and they really enjoyed it as well!

Friendly staff, Beautiful Views and Comfy Rooms.

Posted 24-Nov-2014
Pros: Friendly Staff, Good Food, Comfortable Beds and nice rooms, Beautiful views
Location: Zip lining, snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaks, shopping
Absolutely loved our stay at this hotel. The rooms were great, the views were unbelievable and the service was top notch. Positives -Staff: the staff were the friendliest I have ever been around. They were so helpful. Everyone from the waiters, to the maid and butler service, the trolley and golf cart drivers, and the concierge and greeters at the main entrance! Just so wonderful. Gomez, Francisco, and Gonzalo at Aquazul took great care of us everyday for lunch. They truly went above and beyond. -Rooms: the rooms were great. Requested an ocean view room when booking. It was spectacular. Beds are comfy. Great showers. -Food: The food was good. You have 2 restaurants to choose from. Both are very good. Breakfast offers a big variety as well and is very good. You can also take a cab into town if you tire of the food at the resort. Negatives -Construction: Tower 6 is currently being finished and there is quite a bit of construction noise if you stay in tower 4. The construction is almost complete, but is something to be aware of. -Airport Selling: when you walk through the airport to get a taxi, you will most certainly be approached by someone saying they work for Garza Blanca and that they can help you. This person will then pass you off to someone trying to set you up for a sales meeting to become a member of a property man. club. Just be aware. If you are interested, go for it. If not, keep walking and find your cab outside!! These meetings take a lot of your time.

It does not get much better.

Pros: The privacy and the great food and excellent service. Wow what a wonderful experience. The property and the panoramic view was exceptional.
Cons: The beach was being reconstructed since a recent hurricane had washed the sand away. I am sure the problem will be rectified shortly.
Location: Much to do and see. All listed on their web site and free to guests. Check it out you should not be disappointed.
This SPA and resort was fantastic. We stayed in a two bedroom suite with a panoramic view. Far more space than required for two people. But it was fantastic. The view and the facility with our own private Jacuzzi found us spending a lot of time in our room enjoying the peace and quite just relaxing and enjoying life together. The a la carte restaurants each had different menus with a wide selection of choices. The all inclusive portion would have to be looked at as an individual choice as to how you would use it to your advantage. My original reservation stated all tips and gratuities were included. When we arrived we were told that the tips and gratuities for the waiter service from the restaurants was not included. For those not on an all inclusive I suggest signing your bill and charging the items to your room and paying the total at the end. I do see that the all inclusive charge can vary from room to room so check carefully and see exactly what you are receiving. The resort does have its menus on the web site but everything is in Mexican pesos so can be confusing when trying to compare prices.

Beautiful resort & wonderful staff.

This resort is amazing. The staff is 100% interested in keeping the guests happy. The food and drinks are better than any all inclusive I have visited in the 5 other Mexico destinations I have been to. I would return in a heartbeat.
