“Wonderful Staff”
The rooms are small, but nice. The staff was very friendly. My son got sick, and the maids were great, helping cleaning and willing to assist us. Thank you very much!
“Enjoyed San Juan”
Hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. Room was a "tad" small when the Murphy bed was down for the evening. As we were on various excursions in San Juan, we were not in the hotel very long. The hotel is centrally located. A short taxi drive to old San Juan. Overall our experience was very good.

First class hotel in good area with easy access to highway. Great eateries in complex with first class service.
“Excellent hotel - I can't wait to go back!!”
The hotel was amazing! Upon arrival, you receive fresh baked chocolate chip cookies - they were oh sooo delicious! We stayed for 4 nights / 5 days. There is a supermarket across the street which has everything including liquor! :-) The beach is about 3 blocks away (about 5-10 minute walk). You can rent a car and park it for FREE 1 block away (or pay $10-$15 per day parking in the hotel). The pool is really nice and they provide unlimited towels for the pool area! We took the towels to the beach and returned them after we were done. The on-site restraunts are a bit expensive but convenient for those who want to stay near the hotel. We took our car to the rain forest, outlets, mall, as well as Isle Verde where we went to the El San Juan Hotel which is the place to be on Friday & Saturday night! All in all, we had an EXCELLENT time and EXCELLENT service and friendly staff. I was very satisfied with my trip!
“The best Hotel and the best staff ever”
I recommened it Hotel because the Hotel Was fabulous and the staff was very diligent and kind with us. Until the last day the make my family and myself feel like home. When I come back to Puerto Rico I will sure that I come back to the same Hotel. Thank you for you Hospitality!!!!!
“Crissy's vacation”
The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful and friendly. Free breakfast and internet were pluses. I would recommend this hotel to others. The location is central, between Isla Verde and Viejo San Juan, but traveling could be a hardship if not by taxi or private car. Staff were able to guide me and give good advice in regards to events and places. Great restaurant "Bebo's" around the corner - good food and relatively inexpensive. Would have wished for more nightlife in the area but again Old San Juan and Isla Verde were within 20 minutes of travel.
“Excellent hotel, excellent service”
This Doubletree is a fantastic bargain. It's a gorgeous, modern, comfortable hotel with a lovely pool area. The lounge area, our room, etc, are all immaculate and have a light, modern decor. The staff was extremely helpful. There's a grocery store across the street. There's are some pricey restaurants in the near vicinity, but some more casual ones several blocks away. It's not in the old San Juan area, so if you want sight-see, rent a car or take the bus. However, you can walk to the public beach from the hotel. We had a great stay- we rented a car and traveled all over the island, and came back to our cozy 'base' every night.
“Great for vacation or business.”
The Doubletree Hotel is beautiful with well-planned rooms. This is a very convenient location for exploring the northeast part of Puerto Rico and close to Old San Juan. The staff was helpful and friendly, offering advice on dining and sight-seeing. The traditional Hilton cookies at night were an added treat.
“beautiful and quiet”
This hotel is beautiful and modern with a pool and whirlpool. I had the balcony room which are the best rooms and you can walk directly to the pool from your deck.
