Good location and perfect size for family vacation
The rental's kitchen was well equipped with supplies, and basic necessities, including a grill. There was plenty of towels, and working washer and dryer. There was 5 of us traveling and it was the perfect size for us staying together. We didn't see a lot of the outside because we explored the island and took some tours. The unit is comfortable, and felt like home away from home. Having said that, we wished there was a sponge to do wash dishes, and the unit needs some maintenance. There were wall switches that we didn't think worked, or maybe light bills needed to be changed. Overall, I would rent the unit again.

Pretty good but with some issues
Overall it was fine. Comfortable beds, fairly well equipped kitchen, comfortable living room, plenty of beach gear. But the dishwasher had issues that made it first inconvenient and then impossible to use. We mostly ate in so that was a pain. Many promises to fix it but it never happened (though they did give us a credit for the trouble). . Also a lot of small maintenance issues that just kind of made it feel a little neglected. The lanai was uninspired and not inviting, so there wasn’t really a nice place to sit outside. Location was very convenient for that side of the island, with easy access to good beaches, Hanalei, Princeville shops etc.

Nice condo, good location, a few things to know
Very nice property, inside and out. Location provides a great starting point to explore Kilauea, Hanalei, and the north shore beaches. Shopping center nearby has a grocery and some restaurants. The roosters are loud day and night (pretty common everywhere on Kauai). Be aware that the 'beach access' to Anini Beach is not easy (steep and slippery) and there are homeless camps at the west end of the beach - visitors not welcome.

Could have been better
It started out nice until the 3rd night. We had issues with the shower, it would not shut off. Contacted Arrived, the manager came by but couldnt fix it. She couldn't get a hold of the property manager or plumbers. No one was able to fix it until the next day. We had to ask for more toilet paper. I think that is ridiculous, there should have been an ample supply of a simple necessity. Will I stay or recomment vrbo to friends...most likely not.

Great place
Beautiful location, peaceful and quiet. Close access to the beach, lovely neighbours. Place is clean and well equipped. Many reviews from before complained about the step in the entrance. They have fixed that issue by placing 2 big tapes on the step. Lots of fruit trees in the location, and we loved the lemons, star fruit and breadfruit. Perfect house for a large family with lots of space, and gear for the beach.

Great spot, great deal!
Excellent location in Princeville. Easy walk down to Wylie's Beach (though the walk up can be challenging due to the steepness) and quick walk down to the main town center. House is spacious and every bedroom has its own dedicated AC unit to keep you nice and cooked down on the warm evenings. The rooster in the tree outside the living room window is very friendly and will ensure that you never miss a beautiful sunrise while you are staying in Kauai! The only thing that wasn't great was the wifi, which was intermittent at best. But hey, you're on the Garden Island. Very easy to find a better way to enjoy your time than staring at devices.

It served its purpose. Could have used some deep cleaning. The hand rail was disconnected from the wall in two spots, I emailed and it was fixed quickly. They need to figure out the half step inside the front door. My brother and nephew both tripped and feel. It’s hard to see. It was mentioned by other visitors. Property is a good value.

Nice stay overall
Overall good experience. Finding the place after dark was difficult, be prepared to be searching for a bit. Reached out to Arrived to inform them of the broken bannister and a few other small things but they did not respond. Nice location and big roomy condo perfect for our little family. Parking was no issue. Beach is a steep but doable hike for most.

The home was well stocked, it had everything we needed. All dishes, pot/pans ect. Extra towels. The location is very convenient. Beautiful grounds at the complex. Pool is chilly, but we mostly went to the beach. Easy to check in and check out. Would definitely stay again!

Gets the job done
In this case you get what you pay for. The location and parking were easy. The only big con was that there were these little ants everywhere in the kitchen so if you left anything on the counter it wasn’t salvageable. Besides that the place was good - closet full of snorkeling gear and other toys. We liked our stay.

Great Princevile location
We rented this three bedroom three bathroom townhouse/villa for four nights. There are five of us all over age 60. Showers are great! beds & pillows are OK, one TV in the upstairs guestroom is rather pointless. There’s no cable attachment and it’s not a smart TV so there’s no point having it in the room. Which was disappointing to the person staying in that room as she enjoys watching TV while she’s going to sleep. Washer and dryers are large and efficient. Nice patio seating outside. Living room furniture is comfortable. We loved the pool area, water was warm and plenty of shade available. The beach is not really accessible via walking from the unit (a bit dangerous for us). But you can drive about 10 minutes and get to beautiful Anini Beach easily. There are ants in the unit, very very small ones (they did not bother us too much) - If you keep the counters super clean it keeps them at bay. The dishwasher is not anchored to the countertop so when loading - it will fall forward. That should be fixed. I will also report that to the property manager. Some reviews indicated that there is a tripping hazard in the house. That is still the case. There is a step down from the entry and if you’re not used to having step downs in a home it’s disconcerting. We put a dining room chair right beside the step and that reminded us to be careful there. (A short railing attached to the wall would help.) all in all, we really enjoyed our stay here.

Great Location and Neighborhood
Great place to stay for our family of 6. 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms gave ample space and privacy for everyone. The master bed is very high off the ground, not that it mattered to us, but just in case other guests that are planning to sleep in that king bed may have troubles getting in and out of it if there are any physical limitations, etc. Yes there are things that are dated and not perfect in the condo like ripped drapes, a few carpet stains, and the banister screws not all the way in in some places, but it wasn't a deal breaker for us. The kitchen was nice and provided us everything we needed and it was very helpful to have a full size washer and dryer. (Consider taking your own travel detergent if you plan to do laundry in case there is not any there). The check in and check out process was extremely easy and straight forward. The property is nice and our kids enjoyed the pool (it's small, but they're small so they spent hours there). The walk down to Wyllie Beach is indeed steep and very slippery when it's wet so go with caution (I didn't believe the other reviews, but they were spot on with this). Once you get there, the beach is beautiful and quiet. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here!

The property was ok at first but after we looked around it seemed dirty. The carpets upstairs were ALL stained and so were the curtains. 2 of the outlets in the kitchen did not work and there were ants in and outside on the patio the ENTIRE time we of our stay. I also tried to reach out to the property management 3 times to see if we could get a poor key. I never got a response. The pool was one of the reasons we picked this property and then not being to access it was very upsetting.

Very nice . The entry way into the condo is dangerously set up for stumbling. The tile was slippery when it was raining. Our friend slipped when entering and fell on his back. He hurt his knee and also sprained his toes. He had to miss out on the whole vacation. Two others tripped on the one step by the door. Other than that everything was fine. We did end up leaving two days early because everything was shutting down on the island. Stay safe and be healthy.

Great location. Great place to stay. Close to Anini beach and local shopping center. Not even close to 200 feet to beach. The trail is steep and when it gets wet and muddy it is very slippery. If you’re looking for a house close to beach then skip this location.

Great Spot!

Really enjoyed our stay. Unit had lots of towels, both for in the unit and the beach. Also found additional beach items (boogy board, beach chairs, beach mats, snorkles & masks) in the closet which made beach time more fun. Air conditioning in the bedrooms made sleeping in the heat possible. Well located unit.

Worth the Price - Don't expect perfect.
I had seen previous reviews about the Fridge door handle being broken months before we arrived, it wasn't fixed when we got there. We bought super-glue and fixed the fridge door handle. The doors for the washer and dryer are also off the runners, we tried to fix, but couldn't get it to work right. Things were mainly clean, just found trash in bedrooms under beds and behind furniture. A/C in bedrooms made this stay so, so much better. Ottoman has manufactured leather and has had enough sun that it is peeling off all over, we didn't where shoes in the house, but that made the little fake leather chucks stick to our feet and end up everywhere. But all in all Price was worth the stay.

Great location!
Though we had to travel a bit for some excursions and to see the island, this location was quiet and so close to many beautiful places we enjoyed the most making it a wonderful place to relax and have fun. Absolutely enjoyed Kauai with my family. The location of was great nearby shopping centers at Princeville center. We walk down to the beach near the house to catch the sunrise, it was beautiful. The walk back was a bit difficult,but manageable. The only thing the fridge door handle was broken when we got there and it came off. Besides that we were all comfortable with the Ac in the room.

Nice home
Overall a nice stay. The property was clean and met our expectations. We had perfect weather and took the family down to the beach everyday. The trail was a bit slippery, but it was expected and my four year old did it about five times. The unit was a little out dated and needed a few upkeeps, but the AC, beds, washer, dryer, and all the essentials were perfect. I would definitely stay here again.

Great Condo
Our family stayed 10 days and the condo was perfect for us. Kitchen has plenty of essential cooking aplliances, AC's in bedrooms worked great, grounds we're beautiful we even loved the local roosters and birds that showed up daily. Hike down to the beach isn't bad but the hike back up is not fun. Only complaint may be the outlets in the upstairs bathrooms wouldn't work for us.

Great location
This condo was a good size for the five of us. We spent several nights here and never felt cramped. It had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay and was in a very convenient location on the north shore. The beach towels that were provided were much appreciated. The hike down to the beach is extremely steep and is definitely more than 200 steps away, so be aware of that when booking. Overall, it was a nice place to stay, and I would consider staying here again in the future. Thanks for the great accommodations!

Tropical Paradise
We really enjoyed our stay. Great location, close to beaches and restaurants. The condo with 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and spacious dining/living room area was very comfortable for our family of 5 . My only negative comment is a non-existence of a bathroom door in master bedroom. Please install that door! Everything else was great. We would love to come back soon.

Quiet & Safe area
Unit was pretty clean and complex was quiet and comfortable. Was hoping for an easier walk to the beach. No Bathroom door on one of the bathrooms, made it almost unusable. Some of the light switches either didn't work or were hard to figure out. Pool isn't heated and was way too cold to use in March.

Clean, Spacious
The condo was clean, plenty of space for 4 of us to be comfortable. A bit outdated, however, it suited our needs. It took a bit of looking to find the parking pass and internet password which were in a drawer rather than left out (as was indicated it would be). When I inquired through email, a response came after we had checked out. There was a very detailed and informative binder with condo and local info. If you are sensitive to odors, just a heads up that there was a strong chemical smell from cleaning products used that prevented my husband and I from staying in the Master. The kids enjoyed the comfy bed instead :)
