Michael, the owner was great but the property was not well maintained. The room was okay, minus some spiders and bugs. The surrounding "RV/Mobile Home" area was trashy. We understand that the place might be going up for sale and the family is very busy, but the location could only be rated as "Having portential"

The room was clean and well equipped, but not having air-conditioning is completely unacceptable. Further, the people in the room beside us were sitting outside our window from 5 am until 7 am drinking and smoking. Again, not acceptable!

Basic accommodation. Was given the wrong room key. Had to return to office for correct key as room already occupied. Fan in bathroom extremely noisy. But rooms were clean and beds reasonably comfortable. Door needs adjusting and door knob doesn’t work well.

The property was byilt in and around the 1940's and has never been upgraded. The only way this place could be fixed would be to bulldoze it and start fresh. There were spiders in the bathroom, old cracked linoleum on the floor in the kitchen area, filthy carpet, broken screens on the wondow, no AC, just two fans (which was helpful), and the water ran yellow. Will never stay here again and hope no one else goes through the excruciating experience of staying here.

Basic, clean and just fine
Good location, clean and kitchen was adequate. We did find that there were limited electrical outlets and we needed a fan so charging our devices was a bit difficult. It’s tired and basic but just fine.

Tap water was sketchy (tinted brown) but bottled water cured. Everything else was spot on. For the price for a 2 bdrm suite we agreed it was a far better night than the more expensive (twice as much) place we stayed the following night.

Nice to have a well-stocked kitchen for cooking. Some of the outdoor benches and chairs really needed to be cleaned though, so we didn’t really get to enjoy the grassy area out front.

Beds were uncomfortable, paint peeling on ceiling and walls. Furniture minimal and worn out toilet leaked water had a brown colour. Not enough Electrical outlets, Stove burner could not be adjusted from high. We left a day early from our trip.

Great little place for an older motel. Very comfortable room with full kitchen and full sized fridge. Desk clerk was very helpful at check in. TV didn't work. Bed was not very comfortable and old, but overall a good stay.

poor location, poor atmosphere, old (very old) building, 60,s maybe 50's motel, 1/2 inch gap under door, paper thin walls, coffee grounds in coffee maker still from last user, white painted walls had marks and stains that should have been washed, BBQ was filthy so I cleaned and then decided not to use, dishes were limited and odd selection but we managed to get our Dinner together...think it is more a weekly/monthly stay place...not worth $90-95 a night...maybe $60-65...but the Owner is a nice man

These suites are in a beautiful location, very comfortable beds and linens, a great value, and yes, authentically Retro, which brings us back to a quieter era on the Sunshine Coast. Recommend the suite with a lovely kitchen, you will feel it’s home away from home.
