The door to our room was not safe at all. The door lock itself wouldn’t stop anyone and the backup safety one was broken and didn’t work at all.

Great location off of the highway, there was always police presence in the area but it never felt needed. The hotel front lobby and rooms are nice and the front desk staff was very friendly. Great location if you’re coming in for a quick trip to the dunes since it’s only 15 min away and the highway to head back to Chicago is down the street. Highly recommend.

Stains on the furniture, stains on the bed, dried toothpaste on the sink, dirty hair dryer, dirt and debris on the floor behind the bathroom door. The room smelled. We were right next to the house keeping room so im not sure if thats why it smelled. Hardly any breakfast a little after 8am on a Sunday morning.

Staff was excellent. The floors in the room were sticky and had a strange smell. It was not the cleanest because it need updating. The staff service made the experience better.
