The total experience was wonderful.. The innkeeper Grace was fantastic , very personable and accommodating. We will definitely return to the Beachcomber.. and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Pismo.

As other's have said, Grace, the innkeeper, is fabulous. She runs a great little inn here. It is a motel, so don't go expecting things like an elevator, room service, or help with your bags. What can you expect? A wonderful innkeeper in Grace. An extremely clean motel, one of the cleanest I have been in and the cleanest 2.5 property I have ever stayed at. Many little ammenities in your room such as coffee pods of all kinds, all sorts of paper products such as cups and plates. Fans in the room (no A/C) both ceiling and table top. (So many places don't keep one, let alone two, in a room...I always have one in my suitcase!). And ice and water machine in the common area. The list goes on and on so I won't keep listing all the little goodies. The bowl of chocolates was wonderful! Thank you Grace. Now about the location: perfect access to the beach which is on the same block as the motel. We walked to dinner, breakfast, the billards hall, to the pier, and all around downtown Pismo. Because it is in downtown, expecting a bussling scene during the day and into the evening. Lots of people are there to get to the beach, so it is typical beachtown traffic. My advice is once there, stay there unless you're going for days and want to see the entire area. Enjoy your stay at the Beachcomber Inn, you won't regret it! And again, thank you Grace! We look forward to a return trip soon!

Grace was wonderful. The property was wonderful. If you like to stay nearby to all that Pismo has to offer and don't mind not having a view of the ocean, this is the place for you! FANTASTIC!

Great quaint little hotel. its right downtown so you get the "beach town vibe" here. Its only about a block from the Pier so very convenient for walking the beach/pier/ocean activities and right in the middle of Pismo. Rooms are renovated and clean and there's a little kitchette right in the room. Note: does not have airconditioning (which wasnt a factor becuase the weather's pretty chilly in Pismo most of the year, but if you're comign the one week its hot, that might matter to you). Also - stairs no elevator. (but its one straight staircase). Parking is offstreet (which is essential in Pismo if you arrive by car!). Very nice owner!

This place is so clean and super cute. The bed wasn't very comfortable, and the shower wasn't great and didn't drain well, but everything was perfect. A little noisy on weekends.

The room was very well appointed. It basically had everything that you can think of when it comes to feeling comfortable. There was plenty of extra towels, a Keurig coffee maker, plates and cups. In fact I just had about everything that I need in a stay. And it was very comfortable and well decorated.

Overall a great little inn. The rooms are clean and have everything you need for a short vacation. You can tell that whoever remodeled this place took their time and prioritized quality. What I didn't like was how loud the property was. We were in rom 6 and you could hear everything around you.

Don’t judge a room from the outside. It is an older, small beach town motel, but it may have been our favorite stay traveling down the coast. Great layout, efficient and very nice, almost elegant. It’s not the Ritz, but a lot of thought and effort has been put into the place to make for a very nice stay.

Weekend getaway!
The hotel room was roomy although the bathroom is not quite as large we managed to make it work. The room also supplied various dining utensils, paper plates and bowls which made it easy to have a meal if needed. The parking was a challenge as the spaces are a little small. Everything was within walking distance just steps from dining and the beach. Can't wait to come back!

It's cute, it's quaint and very comfortable. It's perfectly located near shops and the beach. The room is awesome and they really go all out on the great amenities they supply. The staff is wonderful. This will now be the only place I'll stay when visiting Pismo.

Cute beach town inn
Very small hotel, 7 rooms. Clean room, nice kitchenette in king room with sitting area. Nice location 2 short blocks to beach and pier and great restaurants. No air conditioning but had windows open and fans in room. Street noise was loud, cars racing by in middle of night. Very clean area. Parking very tight, spot I was in had to have help getting car out next day. If we go back will park in lot next to hotel.

Charming Gem
Charming little 9 room hotel in the heart of Pismo beach 1 block from the pier. Doesn't look like much from the outside but is a clean well maintained hotel. A 10 out of 10!
