"This is a beautiful, private place. Wonderful service, food, accommodations. The owner is great at connecting you with day trips and transportation. It is not near anything that you can access without a car or transportation but it worked great for us to see the James Bond Island and area in a perfect private day tour arranged for us."

Basic, clean accommodation. Pool is clean. Owner is lovely and helpful. Beach is across the road.If you want breakfast, just let the owner know the night before. The room had large fridges, so we bought fried rice the night before or waited till 10 when the restaurant opened. "

"We had a lovely 2 night stay at Krathom KhaoLak Resort. The hotel was very conveniently located close to the main road through Khao Lak but tucked back from the main street. There was no street noise at all. The room was clean and had air conditioning, a fan and a fairly private balcony out the front. The hotel is located about 150m from the bus stop servicing the Phuket Town - Takua Pa - Surat Thani route. It is 150 THB from Khao Sok to Khao Lak per person on fully air conditioned bus....
