Simply amazing
The villa is like something out of a dream! Very clean and comfortable, beautifully decorated, and peaceful surroundings. Anna and Simon were very easy to communicate with. The meal she made was absolutely delicious! I would love to visit again someday.

Can’t Wait to Return!
This gorgeous Tuscan Villa was everything I had dreamed of for my 60th birthday! Surrounded by family with amazing views and proximity to Florence and all that Tuscany has to offer. The hosts went above and beyond to assure our stay was perfection. The birthday dinner that Anna and Sarah prepared will be remembered forever. Best meal we had in Italy…and we had some good ones! We loved ending the day toasting the sunset while lounging at the infinity pool. Commuting to Florence was easy but don’t miss the nearby smaller villages, local trattorias, gelato, and forested hikes. I can’t say enough about Podere Gualpoli!

Absolutely Incredible Property!! Wish I Could Give More Than 5 Stars!!
The family who owns the home has worked hard and made this property such a special, comfortable space. Everything is intentional and well thought out. The house is absolutely beautiful and was spotless and smelled fresh, we were all smiling from the moment we drove up until we left! I can't say enough about the home, the impeccable outdoor spaces, and the gorgeous views of Tuscany. We also booked a massages with Sarah and homemade meal with Anna and Sarah and everything was wonderful- some of the best food of our trip. I wish we could have stayed longer, it was our favorite rental of any at which we've ever stayed. Beyond the incredible property though, is the amazing family who owns and maintains it- such incredible people and we will always remember their kind hearts and amazing hospitality. There was a possibility I was going to need a doctor during my stay and Anna went above and beyond to be helpful. Simone also helped us during our stay, and all communication was extremely quick and helpful. If you have the chance to stay here, definitely do it!!!

An Amazing Place with Amazing Host
The property is in the high hills east of Florence and 300 m higher in elevation, so it is noticeably cooler. The views are incredible, especially the sunset view across the infinity pool all the way to Pontassieve. There is a COOP market in Pelago, 10 minutes away, and larger stores in Pontassieve. The rooms are large and airy, the pool and hot tub are wonderful, but the absolute best asset is the host. Annamarie, her husband, son and daughter were responsive and even made an amazing four course dinner on the evening of our our arrival ( our request) . Our stay was marked by a lot of rain, which literally 'put a damper' on our outdoor activities, but it was a special time ,nonetheless.

YaYa's do Tuscany
This was a wonderful, scenic location for a get away. The hosts were absolutely lovely, accommodating and responsive. The view from this farmhouse is utterly breathtaking. I recommend a 4WD vehicle to help with the climb up to the farmhouse. The pool is not heated so unfortunately we did not get to enjoy that. Next time I would go in June I think. Thanks for the memories!!!!

Three generations loved this stay!
Our group consisted of my septuagenarian parents, my husband, and our six year old, and all three generations loved our stay at the villa. The photos show only half of this place's charm because photos can't capture how quiet and serene it is. A true retreat. Our stay coincided with unusually hot temperatures, but the fans in each bedroom kept us comfortable at night, and of course the pool kept us cool during the day. That view is breathtaking. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a few simple meals. We booked Anna to cook for us on our arrival night. It was a highlight, and we ate her leftovers for the next three days! Anna is a stellar host. She, Simone, and Sara were there to meet us upon arrival with welcome gifts and a thorough tour. I also booked Sara for a massage which was heavenly. Due to this place's remote location, a car is a must. Be sure to eat a meal at Boccon' Divino.

Pictures don’t begin to do this house justice. From the views, to the gorgeous swimming pool, to the stunning landscape, this was the most relaxing and picturesque house we’ve ever vacationed in. If you’re looking for a quite, relaxing get away with the most incredible view from the top of a mountain.... look no further. This property is one of the nicest you’ll find anywhere in the world. Every night an amazing sunset will wow you beyond your wildest dreams. Every morning you will wake to the sound of crowing roosters and another breathtaking view. Sit and drink your morning coffee as the sun slowly burns off the fog in the valley, revealing the quaint towns below. The property is first class, spotlessly clean and wonderfully decorated. I slept so well here I didn’t want to leave. As amazing as the views and home are, the owners are even better. AnnaMaria and Alberto are wonderful hosts who thrive on pleasing their guests. I’d strongly recommend having them prepare a meal for you. We did on our first night there and were amazed by everything we ate and drank. The pool, outdoor kitchen, fire pit and so much more will offer you a wide variety of choices for slowing down and relaxing. The nearest town is a short 20 minute drive where you’ll find restaurants and a grocery store to stock your shelves. This property is magical, and the owners are loving people. It’s a 10 star destination.... Leave the world and all your stress behind you...book it today.

We had a wonderful time at this property. Anna Maria and Alberta met us the 1st evening and walked & explained the property with us. The home is well kept and very clean & accommodating . Very private and beautiful setting. For an extra fee Anna Maria prepared us an amazing welcome dinner and then we also asked her to prepare another meal for one of our birthday. The food was excellent! She even lit a birthday candle in the dessert. The home and the hosts are exceptional. We are 3 couples traveling together and we all really enjoyed our 6 nights here.

Amazing Villa with Awesome Views
We enjoyed our stay in this spacious villa with amazing grounds including an infinity pool and beautiful views of Tuscany. The villa was well equipped for our stay. It was a short drive to Pontassieve for groceries. We also took the train one day from Pontassieve into Florence for a fun day of sightseeing. Anna Marie was a gracious host. Thank you, Anna Marie!

Wonderful Tuscan holiday!
Our family of four (two older teenagers) loved our stay with Anna Maria and Alberto in August 2019. The property was exactly as advertised, lovely location and great pool. It was a much needed break from touring bigger, more crowded and hotter cities. Our only regret is not having stayed longer!

We felt like we were family. Such caring and thoughtful hosts. We had an extravagant Italian meal cooked by Anna Maria antipasto , Pate cannelloni beans, salad two pastas. Turkey and potatoes and dessert. Wonderful. The place was immaculate and welcoming. Music by the pool as you gazed across at your Mountain View. We saw wild pigs, deer, gathered eggs, played with the cats and new born kiddies. It was a wonderful experience. We have met new friends. Thank you again

This property was more than we could have imagined, from sweeping views to the most comfortable beds we have experienced yet on this vacation journey. Exceptional, Spacious, Stylish. Great Hosts, Huge Privacy, Huge Views
Out of all our wonderful stays at exceptional properties throughout Italy, the spacious grounds, stylish lodging and ample amenities puts this hilltop villa at the forefront. With huge views across the Tuscan countryside and massive privacy, the estate is arrived at the end of a long private drive up a rugged but very navigable dirt road. Gated and occupying the crown of a hill all by itself, the ambience is at once authentic and exclusive. Though the cool weather did not encourage a dip in the inifinity pool, it is a joy to behold. One can lounge on the deck and contemplate it and the outlying scenic views for hours. The house is notable and historic and has been beautifully remodeled with quality details everywhere, there is much space here to accommodate gatherings or families, and the fireplace burns real wood, which is amply supplied. A final note, we can't say enough about the graciousness and warmth of the mother-son owners, Anna Maria and Simone. Their assistance was extended generously in making us feel welcomed and at home on our arrival and then they discreetly disappeared, leaving the care and use of their treasured villa to us with complete trust. Thank you both. Staying here, and wandering the city of Florence, was an immersive and unforgettable experience.

The place was exactly what we were after, away from the hustle and bustle but an easy trip down to the train station where we visited Florence and Pisa. Our family took a trip to Florence and decided to rent a car and head to this Tuscan villa for our final few days. It was the best decision we could have made! The grounds are STUNNING - with sweeping views of the countryside that completely take your breath away. Upon arrival, we were greeted by our hosts, Anna Maria, Alberto and Simone with fresh eggs, wine and homemade dessert. We loved getting to know them and for our last night, Anna Maria cooked us a 4 course dinner that was the most delicious meal of our whole trip. (highly recommend!) They are a kind and beautiful family who take great pride in the care of this property. It's charming and cozy with all the modern amenities and there is no detail overlooked. Between nights drinking wine in the heated jacuzzi, relaxing by the wood burning fireplace, exploring the immaculate trails and surroundings...this little gem is nothing short of a dream come true. We will be back!

Remote and idylic
We had such a lovely family holiday here (2 adults, 3 children). The hosts Anna Maria and Alberto were extremely hospitable. Our children loved the extra interest of going to feed the chickens everyday and collect eggs. It is also a great area for walking, mountain biking and running; embedded in forest and natural surroundings - although to access the house it does involve a 10-15 minutes drive on a hilly gravel track. This encouraged us to stop, rest and stay in the house most days rather than going site seeing in the Tuscan countryside. The pool has the wow factor for sure and the views are incredible. The house is well equipped and authenthically Tuscan, not too modern but very comfortable and clean. We had a lovely week and would highly recommend.

A lovely stay on the Tuscan countryside.
Great host who brought some Italian food products for use at arrival. Communication was very good, questions that occurred during the week was replied to fast by text message. It’s worth to know that the house is located 600m above sea level and the road is a 10-15 minutes uphill on concrete/gravel road by car. The jacuzzi needs to be turned on at least 7 hours before use to get appropriate temperature (37-40 degrees). Over all it was a very beautiful house surrounded with amazing landscapes and view, perfect for mother in laws 60’s birthday celebration.

Einfach ein Perfekter Urlaub !
Perfektes Haus: Das gut eingerichtete Haus ist traumhaft schön gelegen. Man hat eine atemberaubende Aussicht. Sehr großes Grundstück mit mehreren lauschigen Plätzen um einfach die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Der Poolbereich ist wirklich das absolute Highlight und bietet die schönste Aussicht, die wir bis jetzt in einer Unterkunft hatten. Jeden Abend haben wir die schönsten Sonnenuntergänge genießen dürfen. Die überdachte Terrasse im Außenbereich ist sehr gemütlich gestaltet und verfügt über einen schönen großen Sitzbereich mit Grill, Waschbecken und sogar Pizzaofen. Perfekte Gastgeberfamilie : Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Gastgeberfamilie Annamaria und Alberto mit ihren Kindern, die uns mit frischen Eiern ihrer Hühner und Gemüse aus dem Garten verwöhnt haben und wirklich sehr herzliche Menschen sind. Perfekter Empfang : Zur Begrüßung wurden wir u.a. mit toskanischen Spezialitäten sowie frischen Eiern überrascht . Insgesamt war für uns alles perfekt und wir kommen gerne wieder!

Incredible view and atmosphere in this Tuscany house. The house has everything you need and the hosts are so friendly and welcoming. We can recommend to enjoy a Tuscany dinner prepared by the hosts - very authentic and delicious. The pool is really nice. Only 2 things that is taking the score down a notch are the gravel road to the house and the bugs…but the house and Tuscany atmosphere overweight this!

Das Haus liegt traumhaft schön und die Aussicht wird uns immer in Erinnerung bleiben. Den Aussenplatz haben wir für alle Mahlzeiten genutzt, einfach herrlich! Sehr gut gefallen hat uns auch die Musikanlage am Pool und beim Aussenplatz über die wir immer die passende Musik hören konnten. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht ist hier genau richtig. Die Ausstattung ist gut, wir haben nichts vermisst. Die Gastgeber sind sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank an Annamaria und Simone! Absolute Weiterempfehlung! Das Haus ist traumhaft schön gelegen, mitten im Wald mit einer außergewöhnlich schönen Panorama über die toskanische Landschaft. Die Besitzer waren sehr nett und haben uns zu Begrüßung überrascht mit toskanischen Leckereien sowie frische Eier. Sie waren immer hilfsbereit die kleine Probleme sofort zu lösen. Die Zimmer und die Küche sind mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Die Nachbarn Katzen haben uns jeden Tag unterhalten und viel Spaß bereitet.

Dit prachtige verblijf overtreft de verwachting, ZO mooi!. Uitzicht, verblijf, inrichting
Deze vakantiewoning is echt schitterend!! Als je eindelijk bent aangekomen, nadat je een HELE slechte en bijna niet te berijden toegangsweg van ong 2 km lang hebt bereden , vergeet je vrij snel die verschrikkelijke bergweg naar dit schitterende vakantie-vila. Zo prachtig hebben wij het nog nooit gezien! Met name het zwembad, het uitzicht, de ruimte in en om de vila, de inrichting, het overdekte terras met de steenoven , geweldig!! Als die toegangsweg drastisch wordt verbeterd, raad ik iedereen aan om deze woning te huren.

Tolles Anwesen mit phantastischer Aussicht
Das Haus hat unsere Erwartungen weit übertroffen und ist in natura nochmal schöner als auf den Bildern. Absolut ruhig gelegen, mit der Möglichkeit direkt vom Grundstück ausgedehnte Spaziergänge zu unternehmen und wenn man von diesen, oder einem Ausflug zurückkommt, kann man sich schon auf den wunderbaren Pool freuen! Die Besitzer sind absolut hilfsbereit und sofort zur Stelle wenn Hilfe benötigt wird. Vielen Dank Annamaria und Alberto, dass wir 2 wundervolle, kurzweilige Wochen in Eurem Haus verbringen durften! Wir durften 2 wunderschöne, erholsame Ferien geniessen. Das Gebäude mit dem sehr schönen Pool mit atemberaubender Aussicht haben wir sehr genossen. Vor allem auch der Aussenplatz (Veranda) haben wir sehr oft benutzt und war in diesem heissen Sommer unsere "Wohnstube" (Musik hören, Spiele mit Familien machen, lesen, grillieren und ein feines Glas Wein trinken oder einfach "chillen"); wunderschön. Zu erwähnen ist auch die super Gastfreundschaft von Annamaria & Alberto (welcher uns sogar noch frische Pflaumen und Eier) vorbeibrachte). Kurz gesagt: eine tolle Destination für echte Familienzeit zum geniessen! Familie Rölli, Luzern

Das Traunhaus für Familien in den Bergen
Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Urlaub mit unserer Familie und Freunden bei Annamaria und Alberto. Die beiden sind sehr freundlich und wunderbare Gastgeber. Mit Alberto habe ich einige Stunden verbracht weil er uns geholfen hat, eine Lösung für unseren defekten Reifen zu organisieren. Was hätten wir nur ohne ihn gemacht. Das Haus liegt einsam auf dem Berg und man ist ganz für sich allein. Dennoch erreicht man die wichtigsten Ziele der Toskana schnell, weil es sehr zentral gelegen ist. Ein Auto ist aber unbedingt notwendig. Die Aussicht ist atemberaubend, die Küche gut eingerichtet und der Pool das Highlight. Wir waren das erste Mal in der Toskana uns sind begeistert. Wir werden wieder kommen und bei diesen sympathischen Gastgebern buchen. Eine absolute Empfehlung möchte ich hier aussprechen!
