Not a lot of "on premises" car parking but on the street parking mixing with local residents.breakfast time was a bit late ,7am would be a better time to start than 7.30am especially for any workers it was a bit slow coming to the table obviously cooked to order.overall 👍 👌

Great place to stay!
Great couple of days staying in one of the Stable Cottages. Perfect for 5 of us on a mountain bike trip. Perfect location for riding the incredible Tweed Valley trails!

The staff in the hotel were happy to assist in any way they could. The food was superb, the bar had a very good selection of whisky’s and a good selection of beers. The hotel is a well looked after building, very clean and well decorated. We have no complaints about any part of our stay.

Had a very pleasant stay at the Traquair Arms, staff could not do enough to make my stay comfortable as not used to travelling alone, thank you to the member of staff who helped me with my luggage, as not too firm on my feet.

Lovely hotel for a reasonable price . Restaurant was good with well priced menu . Breakfast was also of a good standard . Rooms were a decent size and had everything you needed . Definitely would return .

Really enjoyed my stay. Staff were so pleasant and helpful. The self catering cottage had everything anyone would need and was very clean. I would highly recommend this hotel and would be happy to return

Excellent traditional pub-hotel with great food.
A good traditional pub-hotel. Food was excellent and a real buzzing atmosphere on a Saturday night. Bike-heaven with the excellent surrounding trails although on this occasion we were simply passing through. Definitely recommended.

Tiny room
The room was booked as a twin, but should have been a single. It was so small we had to put one carryon size bad in the closet, because there was not enough floor space for 2 carryon bags. The bathroom door didn’t open all the way because it hit the bed. The food, however, was quirkier good.

You won’t be disappointed.
Fabulous overnight stay - staff all very friendly and welcoming- very accommodating. Accommodation is basic but comfortable- great shower. Food is amazing. Will definitely be back .

Very disappointing stay. Room adequate, dated with a couple of issues. Toilet difficult to flush, no tube in light above sink. Quilt too small for bed. Booked for dinner at 1820 and already running out of dishes on the menu. Breakfast 😖 menu dishes incomplete, no porridge, no fresh fruit, tea refil - pot returned with same tea bag. Requested toast numerous times, in turns gave up! For £95 pounds I expected more. Will carry on to Peebles next time.

Just what we needed
Congratulations to the person who recruits and trains the staff - welcoming, courteous, friendly throughout our stay. Arrived slightly late for our booked meal - no problem to delay it and let us settle in. Dog-friendly:bowl of water brought to our table without being requested - a lovely touch. Plentiful breakfast for the walker (husband) and lovely (and perfectly cooked) poached eggs and smoked salmon for me. My only criticism is that the mattress was not as great as ours, so slightly broken sleep, but that's possibly an age thing :) Room was quiet, even though above the front door. A lovely buzz about the place - popular with cyclists, mountain bikers and walkers. Recommended.

Excellent Stay in Innerleithen
Great 4 night stay in the Traquair. Staff very welcoming, excellent customer service. Good breakfast served. Evening meals excellent. Decor is looking tired, but the service and food more than make up for this. I would definitely stay again.

Just book it don't bother looking elsewhere!
Fantastic stopover in rear cottage, quiet and comfy, even though the pub is busy!! The reason the pub is busy it's got top food and good ale, the Owner and staff are top notch there were Bikers and cyclists stopping as it's in a perfect location. WILL Definitely stay again! Look in village for Droopy Dandilion a lovely little shop for one off items!

Friendly, well-located hotel !
Great location for my meeting. Very helpful and friendly staff. Room was fine, with an extra heater as it was a cold day. I had a good (locally sourced steak) dinner and salmon/scrambled egg breakfast. As there are some great bike trails in Innerleithen, would come back for a short break if I can!

We were given a double bed in a large room on the second floor. Having unpacked and settled in with a cup of tea the Manager knocked on our door and were told that he had got our room mixed up and that we should be on the third floor in a twin bedded room. He was very apologetic and it was not a problem for us to move to a smaller room. We simply pushed the beds together to give us more floor space each side of our now larger bed. A complementary drink was given with our evening meal for the error. The food was great, with breakfasts having a wide choice on offer. Our two nights to cover a section of the Southern Upland Way, which we had to miss out a few years back, could not have been better.
