I look on The Park as a home from home. Warm welcome, friendly efficient staff and I enjoyed a lovely evening meal which was perfectly cooked. There is, also, ample secure parking. Sue Mackay

Nice hotel staff and good parking.
Lovely helpful staff but just felt the standard double room on level 2 was so small for comfort. One side of the bed did not have a light switch or side table. I moved the tea table to the side of the bed but then you had to move it back to get out the door. Also there were problems with the light switch. Discovered you need to put 2 keys in to keep the lights on. Just fit a new key unit? Breakfast was nice and plenty of choice and the star of the show is the parking facilities. If you struggle with mobility the lift only goes the the first floor.

'Worst nights sleep"
Chose the Park Hotel for its location to the town centre. On arrival there were plenty of spaces in the on site carpark. Reception staff were friendly and professional. Our room was on the first floor with an out look of the kitchen roof. The bathroom was spacious with good quality toiletries. The bedroom had no wardrobe only a built in cupboard with shelves, so unable to hang up a suit or dress . The bed was very hard as were the pillows. We had to open the window at night as the room was very hot, but were kept awake due to the noise from the fan on the kitchen roof. The cooked breakfast was made to order and you would expect it to be hot but wasn when it arrived. Due to lack of a good night sleep we would not return nor recommend.
