The hotel is right on a very "happening" corner with popular bars and cafes, but our room, on the backside of hotel, was quiet, even with the window open. Within walking distance of many cool historical sites.

TOO NOISY The property is clean, friendly staff easy to get to from metro. But I did not sleep on the Friday night till 2am and till 4.30 am on the Saturday night because there are pubs, restaurants and clubs next to the hotel. It is too noisy.

My wife and I stayed here and we loved it. While the hotel is older the room was clean, the bathroom was great, the staff was amazing, friendly and helpful. and the hotel's location and surrounding area was fantastic. We will definitely stay here again if given the opportunity.

Nice hotel in a very convenient location. Get corner room (nr 1. in each floor e.g. 401) which seems pretty spacious due to the long corridor. Thought bathroom is rather tinny. Direct view on Moulin Rouge from bathroom window is a nice bonus :). Fast Internet and overall good experience.

Good cheap stay in paris.
This hotel is great if you're looking for a cheap stay in paris. Good hotel if you're on a budget. If you're looking for a hotel near the nightlife then this is the place, right on the door step of the moulin rouge. Good bars and food places on the same street as moulin rouge. Close metro or a nice 25 minute walk towards the river. Download the remote control app on your phone as the tv's in the room do not have a remote. Didn't pay for the breakfast but didn't need to as there a few bakeries around.

Location is good: easy access to metro (subway) and Moulin Rouge (place Pigall). Only downside is, Friday and Saturday nights are extremely noisy until 3-4 AM: there are several very popular restaurants/bistro around. Hotel in general and rooms are clean although the room was tiny, literally there was no place for two people to move around, one person always had to either hide in the bathroom or sit/lay on the bed. But this is rather common for non-expensive Paris hotels so no complains here. Staff is very friendly especially if you try to use your French (even if you just start with Bonjour) before switching to English. We didn't have breakfast in the hotel as there are thousand places in the city to try, about a dozen within 5-7 minutes walk. All things considered it is a good place to stay just don't plan to actually stay inside (tiny space, remember?), better go explore Paris.

This hotel doesn't deserves a 2 star. Infact it should have no stars at all. It's falling apart. The shower is very old and stains all over. The showerhead was broken, they said they would fix it and two days later, we left and they didn't bother to fix it. The mattress are at least 20 years old. The stairs are death trap. The staff is very rude and dont have a clue about customer service . This hotel is a nightmare. The only positive thing about this hotel is the location.

Great location, not so great hotel
The area is excellent. Located minutes away from the Moulin Rouge and Montmartre, metro station and restaurants close by; the hotel itself not good. Room very uncomfortable, the bed springs poking out of the mattress making it impossible to get a good night's sleep. The bathroom was so small I had to leave the door open to use the sink and the shower so small if you turn around your body would close the faucet. They advertise breakfast, three pieces of bread, coffee and juice for 6 euros!Too bad I cannot recommend it to friends.

Weather in Paris was cold at the time but the hotel couldn't turn the heat on because of the city. It made me to have sore throat next day. The third day of staying, the heat turned on. Otherwise, nice area. not too far from metro and restaurants and bars.

A very pleasant, affordable hotel.
I stayed 1 night at the hotel in a single room. Room was small, though perfectly acceptable. Nice view onto the street below. Very nice and approachable. Would stay again.

Very friendly staff, easy check in and within a 2 minute walk from a Metro Station and Moulin Rouge. No air conditioning would be my only bad thing to say, and loud on the street below every night however still slept quite well considering.

Fantastic crashpad option
Lets get down to the nitty gritty. This is a budget hotel in a fantastic area at an amazing price. Its no frills, definitely a crash pad kinda of place but I did find the staff to be really nice and service my room on the daily. There were little things that needed some TLC which is expected with a hotel in this range. Overall if you just need to crash after a day of sightseeing and want to be in the mix of great food and drink options this is your place. Minor thing you get one wifi code per room which is slightly annoying if your in a pair.

It’s an okay place to stay. Can be quiet noisy but that reflects the price for city centre hotel. Staff ranged from really nice to quite rude. I would recommend for single travelers but not families.

Very standard single bed room. Bathroom was rather small, as was the TV on the wall. And the TV had no remote. The stay would have been better had it not been for the bars and clubs right outside. The streets were rather loud until 3 or 4 am when the bars closed. Still, if you like to party then this is the right place for you. Tons of bars and stores and eateries open until very late. And it's located just down the street from the Moulin Rouge. This party is town is party central, which could be a good or bad thing depending on why you came to visit Paris. Overall the room served its purpose. 3 out of 5 stars

The Royal Mansart is a small, French hotel near the Moulin Rouge off Rue de Clichy. It is an "unfussy" hotel with 24 hour reception so there was no problem arriving back late. The rooms are small, clean and bright with wifi and tv available. There is a hairdryer in the bathroom and clean towels were provided each day. The staff were friendly and accommodating. There are no lifts so must be able to use stairs - we stayed on the 3rd floor and it was no problem. Will definitely visit again and have already recommended the hotel to friends.

Better than expected.
Upon reading all the reviews on this place, i have to admit I was scared. However, it was exactly what we were looking for. It WAS a bit run down, however it was clean and cheap with breakfast. Breakfast consisted of bread (croissant, baguette, pain du chocolate) cereal, coffee, tea, juice, which was a great bonus for us. For the price we paid in Paris, we thought this was a great bargin.... I think people just need to remember if you pay for a cheap hotel, you will get a cheap hotel. If you go in there knowing what to expect you won't be disappointed.

We have never stayed in a noisy hotel like ROYAL MANSART HOTEL. We can sleep before 2 a.m. because of the loud noise from the ground floor bar. We will not stay in such a terrible hotel again.

I have stayed at the Hotel Mansart on two other occasions. It is a cheap and cheerful hotel, not the Ritz by any means but good as far as Parisian hotels go. Clean, good breakfast and pleasant staff. It is in a prime location. I would have no hesitation in staying there again.

Last September I had a great vacation
Last September I had a great vacation in this hotel, so I've booked it once again for my summer vacation. This time I was kind of disappointed. First of all, there is no air conditioner in the rooms, not even a fan, which is a serious problem for the summer weather in Paris. It gets so hot and you have to keep the windows wide open all through the night. Here comes the second issue, since there are so many tourists in Paris in the summer, you can barely get some sleep of all the horrible noise from the street (through the opened windows). Even in the morning you can here the trash-trucks picking the garbage like they are in your room. Last year, I've seen the housekeeper onlt 1 time fot my 10 days there. This year the housekeepers were in a great rush to finish their job, so they knock angry on your door if you haven't left the hotel room till 11. The breakfast was poor, but that's not a big deal. Still, the front desk are very polite and helpful throughout the whole stay.

The dirtiest carpet ....
Perfect location in Montmartre..a good spot to see Paris from.. but after two months of travelling ,mostly among the caribbean islands ..the dirtiest hotel on the trip..the wall-to-wallcarpet would have left the room by own force if it had the possibility.. and the contents of the spots on the wall ...? We dont want to know ! But, very nice staff and many cosy restaurants and cafes around the corner.

The hotel was simply great for
The hotel was simply great for the price. It's located on a lovely small street, just a few blocks away from the Opera and in the very near of the Blanche metro station. More than 4 buss lines have stops at the side streets and take directly to the Louvre, The Eiffel tower n s.o. As for the room- it was an ordinary clean room with a huge bathroom, daily cleaned. The staff was smiled. Oh, the only thing that's a bit of a problem- there are many stairs till you reach the elevator and it's hard to carry the suitcases! In general - I'm really satisfied n glad I choose this hotel.

Fijn dat het hotel zo goed gelegen is. Leuke buurt ook met goede restaurants. Wel luidruchtig 's avonds, dus hou hier rekening mee. Zeer basic kamer, maar ok als je niet meer nodig hebt dan een bed om te slapen en een badkamer om je te wassen.

Struttura in ottima posizione, a due passi dal Moulin Rouge e dalla Metro. La zona è carina con tanti negozi, ristoranti e supermercati. L'albergo è un due stella ma è ben tenuto con servizi appropriati. La colazione è sufficiente per gli standard parigini. Il prezzo è un po' alto per un due stelle ma è in linea con quelli della zona.

Posizione ottimale per la metro. Hotel 2 stelle quindi non si può colazione scarsa ma sufficiente: croissant e un pezzetto di baguette, 1 monoporzione di marmellata e 1 di burro. Ma: phon rotto, asciugamani in numero scarso e mai cambiati in 3 giorni, finestra del bagno non apribile per lavori esterni e ventola non funzionante. Portatevi una saponetta per le mani, in dotazione unica bustina per corpo e capelli.
