“Palermo for fun”
The hotel staff was very helpful, but their English was limited so we all had to work to communicate. The breakfast was quite good with fresh coffee cake/pastry and fresh fruit everyday. We would happily stay there again
“If all Mercure are like this one--> No more questions!!!”
A great hotel, great location. Friendly hotel porsonel, willing to help at any time.. They gave us wine and fruits (Since it was our honey moon...) In short --> we will definatly go back there, if we'll have the chance. :-)

Very clean (our room had been recently decorated). Excellent breakfast, especially the freshly baked cakes.

“Excellent, reasonably priced option in Palermo”
We got a fantastic deal on a very nice, comfortable room. The shower and bed were both great. The free wireless in the lobby was a huge bonus, as was the large sunny terrace right across the hall from our room. But the best part was the breakfast! It was an enormous, delicious, hot and fresh spread of every breakfast item you can imagine. Fantastic deal.
“Excellent!!!”
Absolutely loved it!!! From reading the previous reviews here on trip advisor I booked the Mecure slightly hesitating that it would be a little bit basic. But it was not at all. It was gorgeous. I booked the Superior room rather than the standard room and for an extra 10/15pounds it is well worth it. The bedroom was huge and very comfortable and clean and the bathroom was huge too. The only negative aspect about the room was the leaky shower but it really did not make too much difference! Very central location and friendly staff. Would stay here again in a second!

“Very Nice hotel”
As I got a really good price on this hotel through Expedia, I was ecstatic about how ultra modern, clean and quite the hotel was. Even the air conditioner was quite. I then realized it was a Four Star hotel and their nightly rate was normally quite a bit higher than I was paying. For the price, I loved it. The breakfast was wonderful. Lots of fresh fruit, squeeze your own orange juice, hot scrambled eggs, and lot of delicious pastries. Of course they had the normal cold meats and cheeses as well. The staff was very helpful and spoke English well. And, its walking distance from the bus station. (Walking distance in my terms, but I am an avid walker). We were able to get a bus at 11:30 p.m. from the Airport to the downtown bus terminal. There is actually a closer stop as well that I was not aware of at the time. As an added bonus, the Auto-rental dealer we used was just a few blocks from the hotel and was open on Sunday. The only issue I saw was that the paint is starting to peel from the walls in the bathroom. I am guessing this could be resolved by installing a better method of removing the steam from the bathroom during showers.
“Great location”
An excellent location which meant that we could walk everywhere we wanted to go. Lots of restaurants locally. Hotel was spotless, the room was large and the bathroom huge! Very good range of food in the buffet breakfast which was included in the room rate.
“Very handy for the airport bus”
Lovely large room and huge bed. Our toddler had a double sofabed to himself. The bathroom was also huge but what is it with the leaking shower doors...we also suffered with these. Breakfast was great and service excellent. Can't really fault this hotel (except for the leaking shower doors! But careful positioning of the shower head avoids this problem)
