Great house and fantastic location!
This house is better than the pictures show! It was roomy and cozy at the same time. The kitchen is a dream and the music system was a great bonus. We spent hours around the outside fireplace enjoying the cool weather and card games. The house is located 15 yards to the shops and restaurants of Pacific Grove. And we could see the ocean from the sidewalk in front of the house. We look forward to the next time we get to stay here again!

GORGEOUS HAPPY PLACE
When we first stumbled upon this house on Vrbo it seemed almost too good to be true. It was a girls trip we had planned and thought there was a catch! Everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Michelle is the most thoughtful, and pleasant host. She provided us with all the information we needed doing our stay. The house is really comfortable, cozy, extremely clean and antique. The kitchen is commercial style with the cutest sitting nook and contains everything you need. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were also equipped with everything. I’m a tickler for towels and was so impressed with the high quality towels and bed linen that we were provided. We all felt like we were in our own home. The washer/dryer were high end and was such a convenient to return home with clean clothes we washed the towels we used daily. The outside patio area was cozy, the lights made the ambience even nicer while sipping on our wine. We walked and toured Pacific Grove which had such amazing shops and restaurants especially(Aliottia’s Victoria Corner) if you decide to eat there please ask for the server LEXIE she provided PHENOMENAL service, Winston’s, Beach House Restaurant at Lovers Point and The Red House Cafe. The beach was gorgeous. We stayed (5) days went to Carmel by the Sea had brunch at Clint Eastwood’s restaurant the “Mission Ranch” did the 17 Mile drive, went to Pebble Beach, the Monterey Jazz Festival. If I could give more than (5) stars I definitely would have.

One of the best
We stayed here including my wife, two year old, and my mother and it was a fantastic setup for everyone. The place is spacious and has a wonderful patio with gas fireplace out back The location couldn’t be better in Pacific Grove since everything is so walkable. We’ll try and get this house again next time we’re back in the area.

Wonderful weekend!
Perfect for a larger group that wants to have their own space but still be able to gather and spend time in community together. We were able to easily walk to so many different tourist locations. House amenities and space are amazing and we loved our stay. Only issue was there was so many flies on the patio that we were not able to go out there at all.

Truly a great house!
Everything listed about the property is accurate! The construction across the narrow street is not too bad at all. But parking is sparse! Only real parking is on the driveway, which can fit one car. Excellent location! The kitchen is bomb! Library nook is really cool. Things to just be aware of before you go… There is only one shower, as disclosed, and the water is very low flow, which is a bit annoying. Also there’s only ONE TV in the whole house, so if you like your TV time, this isn’t the ideal place for you. The windows all seem to be painted shut, which is inconvenient, but not a total deal breaker. But if you can get past those two things, this place is awesome! I would stay here again.

Comfortable for 3 couples
This was a former restaurant so the kitchen was amazing (for us non-professional chefs!) The location is nice, just a couple blocks from Lover's Cove (we scuba!). Noise wasn't too bad despite construction site across the street. Some fixtures need repair, bulbs replaced etc. but overall very nice. We would book again!

Perfect Location
The check-in process was extremely easy. The house is very comfortable and well-appointed. Plenty of soap, and location and towels. The kitchen also has everything you need. The location is great. There are amazing restaurants on on the street right above the house. Easy to walk to. The Monterey Aquarium and Cannery Row are 1 mile away along the beach. The only complaint is the seagulls can be loud in the morning. There was one we named Phil who likes to sit on the roof and chat with his friends. Beyond that, it is a quiet area. Great location and host. Highly recommended.

Great Pacific Grove Property
We really enjoyed this property for our family of six. The commercial kitchen was fun to use, as well as the nice private deck. It is right in the heart of a very cool neighborhood with lots of shops and great restaurants. And the bay is only a few blocks away. Thanks for the great memories!

Great location
Location is amazing. Place is a former restaurant so the layout is a bit weird and the bedrooms are very bright, thin walled and a bit loud. Hard to sleep in but extremely clean and easy.

Nice historic home
Had a really nice stay here. The check in process was super easy and there was plenty of advance communication so I didn’t have to stress about figuring out how to check in. The property is a historic home, looks like it does in the pics, and it spotless. Everything you could want, from tons of kitchen supplies to plenty of TP, is there. Yes, there is some construction noise, but not much. It certainly didn’t bother me, and I was working for part of my visit. The seagull that liked to sit on the roof of the house was louder than the construction! The property is on a narrow street; it is a little difficult to get in and out of the driveway, but that’s not a big deal. The only constructive feedback I would provide is that it would be nice to have more curtains in the house. The living room, bedrooms and front door have window coverings but other windows didn’t. Otherwise, this was a great place to stay and I enjoyed my visit.

Perfect summer getaway
We really enjoyed our time at this property. It has everything we needed for a family friendly stay. The back deck, surround sound music, and easy walks to beach and dining make this an excellent choice. The construction is loud— but evenings are quiet and it didn’t bother us at all!

Superb Location
We had a great stay, the size of the home and location are excellent. The kitchen is wonderful, but sorely lacking in supplies. So don't expect to do much cooking. Only has 1 small skillet. The house doesn't have AC, which it doesn't need, but some fans would be really helpful to keep the air moving and guests comfortable.

We're sorry you couldn't find the cookware you needed - this home has a professional kitchen with tons of drawers and cabinet storage, so we can see how easy it was to overlook. We double checked, and the kitchen is stocked with multiple skillets along with all the other cookware we require, and we purchased portable fans at your suggestion.
