This place is really hard to find. There is no sign at the road, just a street number! It is not a hotel in the usual sense. It is a long term stay and the unit is more like a dorm room than what is usually expected of a hotel. You are provided with two bath towels, two washcloths, a tiny bottle of shampoo and tiny bar of soap. There is no coffee/tea other than what you can buy from a vending machine. We found two hangers and a comforter for the bed in the closet area. There was a television. There is a cooking area but not a single thing to cook or eat with. Everything in our room appeared new and very clean. The bed was very firm for us but new. When we got to our room in the evening there was a large bag of trash in the corridor waiting to be taken away. It was still there in the morning when we left. From the people hanging around the entrance it appeared that the hotel is being used to house people which is nice. It was quiet at night. All in all if you want to buy your own cookware and live here for a week or month, this is your place.

The property was very clean and nice. Using MapQuest it was difficult. I had to call the staff. I did a good job bringing me in. They have good security. Some of the occupants are funded by the state.

They need to do a better job on locating this hotel, no advertisement or signs leading to the hotel, the hotel is behind a storage unit, it had no sign view from the street leading to the hotel,it's hidden in the back you have to go through almost an alley to go back to it.which was alittle scary.I was lost nearly 15 minutes trying to find this place.

The first room they gave me, the deadbolt was broken on. Within five minutes of being onsite there was a (male) guest who came up to me and was trying to get me to tell him which room I stay in. I asked for another room, and was given a really dirty room on the third floor. I took pictures, there was dirt, gum, hair, food all over the floor and in the corners. The microwave didn't work, the neighbors came knocking on my door seemingly not sober. It was a pretty gross stay, I don't mind rowdy neighbors but it felt like he gave me a dirty room because he wanted to punish me for asking for a room with a door that locked. I've had someone try to break into a room before and will not stay at a place without working locks, he seemed a bit put off that I would expect that level of normal functioning security measures as a solo female traveler. Won't be staying at this gross hotel again.

You may have a reservation with a confirmed itinerary number at WoodSpring Suites Olympia Lacey, but don’t get lulled into a false sense of security that you have a place to stay. According to the front desk employee on the evening of 5/4/24, this property takes guests off the street on a “first come, first served” basis over reservations booked on Expedia so when we arrived to check in, our room was no longer available. Matter of fact, there were no rooms available so we had to scramble to book a room elsewhere. Expedia refunded us promptly which was a relief, but WoodSpring Suites has yet to offer to pay for our accommodations elsewhere after turning us away.

The price definitely reflected what you’ll get. A very basic room, basic bedding, soap and a tiny shampoo only. Bed was uncomfortable with a chunky metal bed frame that is like $40 on Amazon. Room had been poorly painted over damaged walls. The parking lot was okay until you turned the corner around the back. Several people living in their cars, trash and possibly drug usage. It’s definitely a place that accepts vouchers for the people experiencing homelessness as there were plants and stickers in the windows of some rooms. Very basic. If you’re looking for a quick place to sleep (uncomfortably)for a couple hours mid drive then this spots for you.
