“wonderful. relaxing experience”
I often go to the Semihamoo Resort either with a friend or with my husband. It's always been a delightful experience. Our room invariably is large, clean and well appointed, with comfortable robes and luxurious toiletries. Packers restaurant has food of good quality and the service is excellent. There's a gym, indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, and separate steam rooms for men and women. Outside you can walk around tSemihamoo Bay on a well maintained track. All in all, a very wonderful place to enjoy.
“Beautiful place on the ocean”
Once you drive down the road onto the peninsula you understand the appeal of Semiahmoo. With ocean on both sides of you, walking & biking trails, a golf course close by and a marina, it is a real special destination. Huge rooms with all the amenities. Great little lounge overlooking the ocean and across to White Rock in Canada. Nice deck with rocking chairs to watch sunsets.
“On the border of Canada”
We had a very relaxing time with our three kids. The staff was great. The only problem we had is the hotel is so close to Canada, our cell phones were roaming on Canada's cell towers the entire time we were there so we couldn't use them without roaming charges. Other than that, a beautiful and most excellent stay!
“Outstanding place to get away”
We loved the hotel, room and atmosphere. We attended the Friday Night BBQ and other than the hour wait for a table (spent pleasantly in the the bar) had a great evening. Wonderful walks along the beaches and if not for the rain we would have been kayaking out on the bay.
“Always a Great Experience!”
Although it has been more than 15 years since my last visit to Semiahmoo, everything is still as beautiful. The gardens were gorgeous, the view of Boundary Bay from our room was spectacular. Everyone we met that worked there was very welcoming and the service great. We were able to play a round of golf and the incredible service and attitude carried over to the clubhouse as well. We had a great time and I hope we don't wait another 15 years to go back.
“Semiahmoo Resort - Can't Wait To Go Back!”
This resort was one of the nicer resorts i have stayed in. It was absolutely beautiful. I will definately be returning to this hotel in the near future. i would love to go next time in the summer when the Ferry is running. I absolutely recommend this resort.
“Lovely waterfront resort lodge nestled in a park”
It was difficult to leave! What a treat to find this resort in NW Washington. Right on the water, you can spot Canada across the channel. Fun pool, spa, and golf course as well a fabulous food! Location at the end of a penninsula park makes for beautiful views and great shore walking. We missed the Friday night special activities but could tell this would be worth the effort to arrive in time for a subsequent visit.
“great service, beautiful resort.”
The staff were all friendly, and the room was super nice and big. Not much to do around there - might be the last "major" small town before crossing the border to Canada. It's a very quiet place - good getaway with nothing to do but relax kind'a place.
“Cant be beat!”
During the week, low volume and 2 hour sunsets over the Sound make this one of the best destination resorts I can think of in the Northwest. Great food, service, and views at Packers Lounge (attached) are top notch too. Beautiful paths along the spit and a great fitness room/pool area give plenty of activity even for the non-golfer. It remains one of our favorites!
“GREAT SETTING--FABULOUS SUNSETS!”
Beautiful water front location! Large, nicely appointed rooms. Only issues were person(s) in room above me sounded like a hurd of elephants walking about--you could hear every foot step. Also the heating/air conditioning system has noisey blower.
