Comfortable Stay
We drove down from Oregon to visit family. The location was great, the room was nice. They have breakfast in the morning and the hottub was open all night. We enjoyed our stay, but was a little shocked that we had to pay an additional City of Oakland tax. Regardless the hotel was great and we would stay again. Staff was very friendly.

Don't get Robbed by Comfort Inn
Horrible service. We prepaid everything through hotels.com and then they charged us $21.40 on my card for hotel fees calling it The Oakland fee. They wouldn't explain. Don't stay here. Smells like weed everywhere. Horrible service and to charge you for nothing is robbery.

Rude staff and poor rooms
This was the worst hotel stay I’ve had in a long time. The service was terrible, rude staff that obviously didn’t know how to do their jobs efficiently. They booked another hotel guest into my room, less then 10 minutes after they checked me in. The guy was opening the door to my room as I was getting changed. Also, the attention to detail of cleanliness was not up to par, and very uncomfortable beds. All around this was a poor experience, and I will not be staying here again, in fact I most likely won’t be staying at any Comfort Inns from now on.

Good place to stay
Location was close to the venue but it’s not in the best neighborhood. They did have security though so we felt safe. Beds were a little uncomfortable. Front desk staff were not overly friendly but were available and helpful when needed.

Bait and Switch, would not honor Hotels.com price
Not good - the hotel was dirty - curly black hair in shower - run-down, terrible breakfast, and they charged me more than the Hotels.com price I booked. They said it was too bad that Hotels.com advertised the wrong base price of $120 a night (before taxes and fees) instead of the $140 a night (before taxes and fees) that they charged me.

Everything was great. Breakfast had a ton of choices. Staff was ready to assist if when anything happened. Only complaint I had was I guess the walls are so thin so every time someone walked down the hallway we could hear anything and everything they were saying and there was a huge group of obnoxious boys staying on our floor. Other than that everything was perfect.

Bad customer service!
The rooms were okay, but the service SUCKED! Could not get a hold of anyone at the front desk called for hours and no answer. The shuttle to the airport wont wait more then 2minutes for you. I would never stay there again!
