The Hotel Rooms smelled like mold, musk and feet! I had to change rooms upon arrival and it was not better! They said they clean rooms on the 3rd day, I was there a week and my room was NEVER cleaned. Perhaps this is why the carpets smelled so terrible, they aren’t cleaned enough. The staff was really nice, friendly and accommodating.

Room wasn't bad just attention paid to maintenance seems lacking. Had a lot of rust on the bathroom door frame and the tub caulk was discolored to the point it appeared molded.

This is my first time staying at a Comfort Suites and I won’t be staying here again. Housekeeping never came. Signs said they would come every 3 days, we were there for 6 and they did not come to our room once. Staff stopped cooking breakfast early so we had to eat out for breakfast 3 days of our six day stay. If breakfast stops at 9:30, why would you stop cooking at 8:30 knowing there are people waiting to eat with their families? Never had enough breakfast out, even if we got there early. Overall, 2/5 stars.

The staff were very friendly and the hotel was nice, however there were some problems with the cleanliness of the room. There was hair under the pillows on the bed, and the floor of the shower was covered in a film of something that looked like dirt but wouldn’t wash away. The breakfast was also very limited.

The cleanliness could of been better within the room by checking within the couch and under it as well, we found a sock and crumbs/trash in and around it. Our toilet in our bathroom did not flush. We informed staff twice while during our stay but still did not fix the issue. Overall our stay was pleasant and staff was nice.

Front desk staff was amazing. Super nice with a lot of personality. The beds were sooooo soft. Absolutely dreamy!! We didn't stay for breakfast but it smelled amazing! Definitely 10/10

Overall a good stay for the price. Our only complaints were: 1. The mattress on the pull out couch was quite bad, was more comfortable sleeping on the couch in couch form. 2. The staff declined to give us extra towels when we asked, had to ask a second time with a different employee and that was on the contingency that we brought dirty towels back down to the front desk Otherwise the area is about typical for North Charleston, not super sketchy but not exactly warm and fuzzy. Would be fine staying here again.

My daughter and I stayed overnight in Charleston to visit my sister in the hospital. I chose this hotel because the description met my standards, the overall reviews were positive and the price was reasonable. The hotel/experience was everything to be expected. I have no complaints at all. I select and expect hotels to be decent, clean, and up-to-date with a satisfying, free hot breakfast and friendly, competent desk staff. This hotel provided all of that, so I was more than satisfied. Any negative reviews about this hotel are likely “isolated” events, specific to that guest’s situation.

The condition and cleanliness of this hotel is horrible (peeling wallpaper, rusted doorframes/floorboards, stained musty smelling carpeting, dirty shower with mold/mildew in caulking, very questionable bedding that made me itch all night). It was so bad I had to check out early and find a new place to stay. When I initially raised my concerns with the front desk manager, she was very defensive and irritated with me…no attempt to make anything better. The worst hotel experience I’ve ever had.

We stayed here over the weekend and we paid more to stay at this hotel for the indoor pool for my daughter. I assumed the pool was heated and it was not. They talk about how wonderful their breakfast is but our experience was not good. They had 1 guy refilling everything. At 9:00am, they were out of eggs, waffle mixture, grits, bagels, apple juice, milk, etc. Also no one serviced our room to take out the trash or give us fresh towels. Multiple people were talking about their room cards not working. I have stayed at several hotels near by and this has been by far the worst.

They had to change the batteries on my lock and dealt with people smoking marijuana outside my window and the scent was coming in. The front desk personnel took care of it all.

The nightly rate was what made me book the room. The location was 20 min away from the concert venue we came to Charleston for. The room was clean and all of the electronics worked and made our stay comfortable.

Would not stay again or recommend to others.
The room smelled as soon as we entered each time that we entered. It just felt dirty. Rust stains at the bottom of the bathroom door frames and some debris in the bathtub. Crumbs and stains all over the sofa. Carpet very old and just felt dirty. The pull out mattress was lumpy, yellow, stained, and had crumbs all over. The breakfast was very minimal and low quality and the coffee was not good either. The desk clerk was kind and helpful and the staff were friendly. When we requested extra towels due to using the ones in the room to cover the pull out mattress we were told we would have to exchange with the ones we had. There were no sheets or pillows available for the pull out mattress either.

We did not have a pleasant experience at this hotel. Sofa was dirty and walls peeling. In the morning there was not hot water. During breakfast the floor was sticky. Staff was friendly but i wouldn't go back.
