We were excited about our stay in the Lido House Harbor Cottage. Unfortunately, the cottage is showing a good deal of wear and tear. A refresh may be in order. The room amenities are lacking. The kitchen is poorly stocked with bar towels (0), dish towels (0) , and washing up supplies. There is no minibar in the room. Bathing towels were also limited. There were no additional pillowcases or bedding for our stay. Staff is lovely, but the hotel is a bit worn for a $1600 per night price point.
Further, dealing with the Marriott telephone center for all hotel requests does not make for a four star or five star experience. I called several times to speak with someone “on property” for concierge help and was directed to the call center each time.
