The hosts provided very detailed instructions for access to the house and parking that made it super easy for us. Once inside we found a welcome basket that made us feel instantly at home. "Our family stayed at Jess' Loft in New Albany prior to heading further into Indiana for the total eclipse. We didn't know if the weather was going to cooperate for the eclipse (it did!) but if it hadn't, we would have been just fine because New Albany is such a charming town and the loft is one of the best vrbos we've stayed in. The loft has such a hip vibe and everthing we needed was there. Owners were great with communication too! Oh, and the rooftop is huge and clean and such a nice place...

"Very cute little shot-gun style bungalow. Decor has a classy art-deco vibe. The place was super clean. Several nice restaurants within walking distance. Bedrooms are quite small with very little storage but the beds were super comfortable. It would be quite a stretch to sleep 6 as it has a very small pull-out couch in the main area. Also, no hot tub as promoted. The host was super with communication."

"Overall, very happy with our stay. We needed somewhere for the PGA Championship and it was certainly close enough to downtown Louisville for us. The neighborhood was nice and food/other necessities are close by. The home worked for our group of friends, but I do wish for a little more from the home. It felt like a home that was flipped, which isn’t a bad thing, but there are some things that could’ve been improved. For example, the windows used to have curtains and now they only have blinds....

I would have cancelled reservation at that point but when I looked to cancel I noticed it was nonrefundable. All the fees added to this rental doubled the price of the original rental price. The location pros are the kitchen and living area are great for group hang outs, the pool area is a great place to relax during good weather, and the location is close to things to do in new Albany. The cons are that the bunk beds are not suitable for children and may even be dangerous for some adults (which is hard to tell from the photos).
