Overal would give this property a 6.5/10. When on arrival we were greeted by a nice young gentleman and got checked in efficiently. We got surprised when we got to our room as we got upgraded to the Fraser suite at no extra cost which must have been a lovey complimentary gesture from them. The suite was lovely and spacious, beds were very comfy. The only problem we had in our room was whoever was walking upstairs you could hear them clearly as our room/there floor was very squeaky which spoilt our sleep as the beds were comfy enough! The whole property needs a lot done to it as everything looks like botch jobs if you close enough. Carpets and windows are very rough round the edges, plugs and radiator pipes painted roughly, tiles weren’t sealed properly. Really does need a professional in to re-do the whole place. I put a special request in when booking that I am a coeliac and would need a GF option for breakfast, when went through to have it the waitress had no idea about this and also didn’t know what options were available to had to ask the chef. Not her fault but who ever manages it should be training all staff about special requirements like this or marking it on the menu in this day and age where there so many allergies etc. Anyway she came back and read off the menu which items were gf which there wasn’t too much choice. Toast came and felt like it had just been heated up/defrosted so wasn’t toasted properly. Portions are poor and eggs overcooked.
