“A Steal for a Great Stay”
The hotel was truly immaculate. Our room was rare in that it was huge for European standards and was as nice as the pictures shown. We traveled to six countries in total, and our room in Munich was the cheapest and, yet, it was also the nicest and largest. The hotel has an ideal location, which is five minutes walk from the train station and an easy stroll to the center of the city and the site of Oktoberfest. We will absolutely stay again.
“King's Hotel Center, Munich - great place to stay”
King.s Hotel Center is located about 5 min walk from the main train station, about 15 min walk from Marienplatz. The hotel is very charming, small lobby in a Bavarian style has a little bar, stuff is extremely polite and friendly and speaks good English. Our room was quiet small, but had everything a traveler might need. Twin-size bad was comfortable, the TV was a new flat-screen, air-conditioner was working properly, room had a good size closet with a tiny safe. Bathroom was small, with the shower, but updated and very clean. I would suggest not to get the buffet breakfast in the hotel, for it.s quiet pricy ( 12 Euro ), instead you might want to get breakfast / lunch at the train station, there is a lot of little places with variety of food.
“Agréable et bien situé”
Chambre un peu petite mais état neuf et très propre. Excellente isolation phonique. Agréable petit déjeuner très complet dans une très belle salle. A 2 pas de l'hyper centre et métro à 300m. Personnel globalement très sympa. Pour les moins : Pas de possibilité de faire un café en chambre.
“Great room ; good price”
This room had everything we wanted; very clean; close to the Hauptbahnof; hotel staff friendly and helpful. The only thing we didn't have was the breakfast smorg as we found it too pricey but there are lots of places to eat within walking distance.
“Very nice, clean & comfortable”
This hotel is near the main train station but is a block away so be sure you know where it is before arrival. It is very convenient for connecting to a train or the S bahn. The hotel is very clean and nice. We arrived at one AM and was treated very well which was very much appreciated. I would stay there again if I was to return.
“Great value, great location”
Excellent location, staff very friendly. was more than we expected for the very low price. Very happy with this hotel. It was our first trip to Munich, so have no frame of reference of the expectency of German hotels, but it was better than most British Holidays at the price we paid. Only bad thing, be careful with kids and the remote control as the adult channels dont encrypt straight away and its pretty full on stuff.
“Excellent service and value! vvv clean!!!”
My partner and i where very impressed with this hotel. The staff where very friendly and helpfull and even supprised us with a free mini bottle of bubbly and a card on my partners birthday!!! Our room was lovely although there where no tea/coffee making facilities but this is typical for germany so i would recomend maybe taking a travel kettle. It was also very warm and the decore was charming. The hotel was also exceptionally clean, which is one of the things i look for most in a good hotel. Would definatly recomend.
“Nice!”
No complaints here. Centrally located. Excellent, if pricey, breakfast. Very comfy bed. Helpful and kind staff. 8 AM check-in! Just one clarification: While the front desk is open 24 hours, the attached bar is not. That would be this hotel's sister property. An overall great place for exploring larger Munich. I must also mention, as others have, the excellent Italian restaurant across the street. Cheers!
“Perfect Location!”
Just a block and a half northwest of the Hauptbahnhof puts it in the perfect place. Less than a mile walk to the Marienplatz/Hofbrauhaus/Leopoldsplatz/Viktulienmarkt. Short walk from the Augistiner-Keller brewery and restaurant as well as the Loewenbrau Park restaurant. The staff at the lobby was extremely helpful, and the hotel bar was a nice way to finish the evening. The breakfast seemed a little expensive, so we just hit the local bakeries in the morning. The cleaning staff REALLY wanted to clean our room, even with the do not disturb sign up, but that was our solitary complaint. We were thrilled with our stay.
“This place is a gem!!!”
I have never done one of these reviews, but felt compelled after staying at the King's Hotel in Munich. First, this is a haven for English speakers. All of the staff speak English and all of the signs in the hotel and in the rooms are in English as well. The rooms are beautiful and super clean... I might even venture to say a bit luxurious for the very reasonable price. The staff is very friendly and helpful and gracious... and the breakfast was yummy and plentiful. It was a GREAT experience!!!
